What is up with all these free cell phone tents popping up. The line of entitled people should be ashamed of themselves.
Some things to slow them down
:make them file this as income toward there taxes.
:verify that only one phone per household is being given. Use ss number, driver license, and a thumb print. Make the names availble for all to see .offer rewards for turning in abuse of benefits.
:cut all calls off at 5 mins each. They are for emergency only, right. Lol
:make the caller id indentify you as entitled when they call someone.
It is a bunch of crap that each of my phone lines os charged
a tax to keep these bottom feeders a phone.

How many entitlement programs have you taken a part of? If your child has attended school in Murray County, at least 1 (Title 1 Monies). If your child is going to college or will attend and plans on receiving any scholarships or loans (like HOPE or FORD), you will be receiving an "entitlement" program. Social Security, Disability, Title 1 (and other Title program) Schools, not to mention the Food Stamp programs and Federal Cell phone plans that you are so quick to criticize. http://www.nokidhungry.org/snap/your-snap-sto... \
Many people have been in poverty and gotten out of it, after benefits from government programs like Food Stamps. One way a lot of that happens is from support from their communities instead of tearing them down. If they don't have a phone, but need a number to apply for a job (so they can eventually get off of Food Stamps), that might be one of the reasons they need one. Or not to mention that they might have school-age children that might get sick at school. Guess what happens when the school can't get hold of the parents because the phone number is no longer working (you know, from not having a free cell phone?).... they get visited from a Social Worker or Police, just because they have no contact information.
Don't be so quick to judge. One of these days you might be in the same situation, and you might wish that people would stop judging you like you did to others!
Look, I see people taking advantage of this system all the time, but that doesn't mean that everyone does.

no, you're right, they won't be "for free" come end of year. they're going to start costing $5 per. do appreciate the heads up on the establishment of tents dishing these out right and left now. sounds HIGHLY interesting. multiply that rumored $5 per by how many get thrown at the willing between now and then PLUS those already in hand. it's looking like someone stands to be making them some serious money.
through the aid of taxpayer dollars, no less.
