We went today for lunch. They had a nice crowd. They had a ton of friendly staff and the service was good. The atmosphere was great and the renovation was VERY well done.

Okay, now to the bad part, the food. The salsa was nondescript and lacked flavor or heat. We ordered another kind of salsa (I don't remember the name but it is made with dried peppers) and it was not really any better. The chips were average. The refried beans had a nice home made flavor. The rice was average. I had Chile Colorado and it was pretty good but the serving size did not match the price of the dish. The friend I was with had fajitas and he said they were good. Two hours later and several trips to the bathroom he declared he would not return. It could have been the food or it could have been coincidence but he was sure it was the food.

All in all I thought the food was just average, the service was excellent and the price was in line with the decor but not necessarily the food. If I am rating it just based on the food I would have to say it is our 3rd best option in Chatsworth.

Food good. Service great. Guacamole outstanding!!!!!!! Fresh made in front of you! However this is a family restaurant. I sat behind a SCREAMING child....this parent let him whale for 20 minutes... Not the dining experience I was hoping for.

Food is high but rent needs paid. How do all the people in this town think that small businesses pay their bills. They struggle already in Chatsworth, just trying to keep business here. What is wrong with you all. Isn't that what everyone preaches keep money in Murray County, support your small businesses. It is snob nose people like some of you in here that makes it hard to be a small business owner. Then what makes it worse is that the city doesn't back them with nice write ups unless they belong to city council or pay for it. This town and all you snob nose people that are always writing bullshit in here make me sick. Back the small business or stay out of them.

to begn with, if you open a business and you expect to keep it open there are several factors to take into consideration, especially a restaurant. to start you have to familiarize yourself with the community, the age brackets, what the average populous is that goes out and what is the average that is paid for a meal. Then you figure the amount of staff needed to keep a place operating to insure good service and quality food. That is equated with food cost and parishable and non parishable operations costs. You figure your overhead and thirty percent to that and figure your food cost based upon a nominal expectation of patronage (these facts are provided in simple research) to come upo with your plate costs. If you are above the normal figures then it may not be the best thing to open because you may be over proced for the area.

Not being a snob just a person that runs a restaurant in Cartersville for the past fifteen years. If my keeping your rent paid means that I have to pay above average prices then I am not the one in the wrong business. Just a pat of reality for you there.

The service was great, the salsa was good, but that's all, of the 3 items I ordered the rice was good, the red sauce was terrible and the last item was undercooked and cold. I like El Pub in Eton better!

It's the best one in Chatsworth. I've ate there several times. The price is the same as any other that's here. I don't see where y'all are bitching about the price.

Oh really you are right but you are talking about two different places. One, Cartersville is closer to Atlanta and so your business already exceeds the community here in Chatsworth. Also with the economy the way it is, you have to live day by day now adays and if you do not take a chance how would you ever know. I just do not understand how come people do not act like the grown ups that are suppose to be on here. Thank you for your info but I do not run a business in Chatsworth, I just support them by buying as much as I can here. I never make a judgement on my first visit. Everyone has a bad day sometime. Thank you for your insite.

Wood? It's "would" and your "I's" arnt capatolized and neither is the "d" in Doo or the "j" in Joe and your prayers don't reach any futher than the roof. You have to wear shoes and a shirt to get in the door. I ate there over the weekend and it was "excellent" and paid cash for my food. You are the one wanting a hand out...typical Republican garbage like the ones on food stamps and welfare. And blame it on the Liberals! We all know who uses the programs you say you are agaist. The guilty dog barks first!
