United Air Care Inc, in Chatsworth Ca is a full service scam. They advertise low cost service on residential heating, then come to you home and try and talk you into hundreds (or thousands in my case) of dollars of work. In my case their serviceman/salesman talked my wife into $1,200 of service after coming to do a $50 coupon service. He even tried to have her agree to replacing all of the ducting in the attic ($2,300). My wife was concerned about a health issue with my daughter, and the salesman saw this. He did a great job if you want a sleezy salesman in your house to sell you whatever he can. DON'T USE THIS BUSINESS AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!!

United Air Care offered me the service for the 50 dollars to clean my air ducts. They did find abestos in my airducts that I did not know was there. I got anouther qoute and they were the cheapest comp. so I am happy that they found it and it was worth the money spent to get it removed! They were very friendly.

I was very pleased with the service that United Air Care provided me. They cleaned my air ducts, which I had never had cleaned before. The guy that came there with was very nice and explained everything to me.
The cleaning took them several hours but when they were done, I could really tell the difference. I used to dust the house all the time and now I notice that a few days can go by and there's no dust.
I called the office a few days afterwards about a billing question and they were great - I wasn't on hold for an hour, which is what most companiews do to you.
Overall, a good experience and I would definitely recommend them to other people.

This company sends out advertisements for duct cleaning services, claiming to come out for less than $50 to vacuum clean your ducting. When they come out, they will try to upsell everything they can. They'll probably ask to disassemble and clean your entire furnace, maybe even replace some ducts, not to mention the "real" duct cleaning that includes agitation and EPA registered chemical sprays that will kill harmful molds and bacteria that may be residing in your duct work, which is not included in their advertised vacuuming service.

It would not be uncommon to expect them to come clean your ducting for around $50, and then to have them offer all sorts of stuff for anywhere from $500 -$5000!! They will use scare tactics in attempts to pressure you into agreement on the spot. If you don't agree and simply take their $50 vacuum service by itself, you'll soon discover that even that isn't worth it. The vacuum they use simply does not create adequate suction to do any type of thorough cleaning.

At best, this company charges a ridiculous amount for mis-represented services. At worst (and quite honestly, realistically), this company is simply a scam. Hop on over to the Better Business Bureau's website and look at their rating... and then make sure you STAY AWAY!

I was obligated to make changes in my home to pass inspections and such. I called United Air, after being referred to them by my friend, and they came out in a timely manner. Of course, I had no idea of a coupon, but that's ok because I knew exactly what I wanted and got it done exactly the way I wanted it to. I guess I could see where they could up sell, but if you are firm and know what you need, then you should have no problems.

Perhaps I was lucky, but I am a smart consumer and knew what I was getting into.

United Air Care Inc, answered my call and were nice on the phone. They were able to provide me with good service and it took fast. One day and finished my work. Was costly but I expected to pay so it was ok.

I would call again if need.

I dunno, I used their coupon without any issues. They came and did the work I wanted them to and I just stood my ground and decided to get the cleaning that I wanted from the get-go, and ONLY that.

Sorry some of you dont have a backbone, but they didnt do anything wrong imo.

I agree totally! United are care, and I know there are people who want to say this, is a piece of crap. They will scam you and argue with you. They tell you something is 200 and later raise it to 800, then they will put things they didn't fix in their bill

United Air Care is a SCAM. The coupon is their in to give you a scare tactic laced hard sell for new equipment. They will find asbestos no matter what. The salesman said the house was UNSAFE to live in. Your furnace will need to be replaced/fixed whether it needs to be or not. Total estimated bill was $7,500. Thanks but no thanks. To top it off they never even cleaned the ducts as the coupon suggests. They only vacuumed the registers and called it good. Make sure you get a second trusted opinion as I did. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my system.
