My Question is still on the table
"Do you condemn those who went to the army as sinning and freed the folks in the concentration camps, like the jw do?"
Dont know why you say that its totally untrue, I am sure many who joined the army did it out of good motives. However there is a fact if everyone actually applied the bibles standards when it comes to warfare there would be no war.
If someone joins the army its their choice but witnesses wont because of their conscience. Its not a matter of whether they were saved from the concentration camp its just a matter that they were true to their bible trained conscience whatever the outcome.
The point made that it was Jehovah who rescued them is an unknown one. Jehovah can maneuver events if it is in line with his purpose and I believe there are examples of that. In other cases he may just give people the strength to deal with a situation but not actually remove it. No human actually knows for definite at this present time.
It is not for anyone to condemn anyone else, everyone follows their own conscience,. Witnesses do not condone warfare but we are neutral not fighting on any side. I dont think that is the stance of cowards, they were persecuted both in the axis and in the allied countries for this stance.
As for the statement we are a cult, we are not by the definition of a cult. I used to be a Roman catholic you tell me which religion has a single central charismatic leader you might find it hard to not label them as a cult if you see the definition.
Anyway everyone will never become a witness at this point in history on the earth and not everyone who is not will decide not to fight in wars so until after Armageddon there will be those prepared to kill others in warfare. The one thing witnesses need to be concerned with is making sure they do what Jehovah asks not the world, what everyone else does is up to them whether it be for our benefit or detriment is irrelevant.
