But they are paupers in their worship of God.
It has everything to do with money. Anyone can see the Catholic snobbery coming from you and Mark.

In England, property owners in certain towns and villages are finding out their centuries old deeds require them to maintain the local CofE church often involving thousands of pounds in roof/stone repairs etc.
Awesome news.

All these rich Americans buying up property in England and Europe get what they deserve. Soon, the only people living here in the US will be middle class preppers and refugees from Kenya.

Love of money and power ain't restricted to just Catholics. The Jews have been at it for centuries and the Catholics just picked up the slack. The protestants saw the cash flow opportunities and split from the RCC to start branch offices.

But you are exactly right. With religion, it all comes down to money.

There seems to be a lot of similarities between Catholics and Jews. The modern day church has the God of mammon worship down much better than the worship of the true God. Everyone have a nice, great, big, ole Catholic day.

Catholicism and all forms of Protestantism are both nothing more than warmed-over Judaism.

A lot or a little, you always find some form of the following in each:

Priests
Temples
Altars
Tithes
Holy days
Sacraments
Law-keeping
Internal power struggles

And our old friends greed, guilt, shame, gossip, hate, jealousy, and anything else you can think of.

You are wrong about England. The bills for church maintenance are going to property owners who have been there for generations. Lead roofs and stone walls don't really last forever. You appear to have given up killing muslims for class warfare!

All religions and cultures across all of human history have contained these exact elements along with animal and human sacrifice. Anthropologically there is nothing new under the sun! So do you really think you've come up with an alternative? Not bloody likely.

So which is it? Are the Sprouls now claiming they have wisdom which enables them to understand the cosmos...something no other human can claim or are the Sprouls saying they have no wisdom? Cracks me up!

Great Britain is like the Magic United Kingdom to Americans. While you are right about generations of native landholders, US ex-pats live there in droves and buy up property, so they are just as much able to foot the tax bill as the locals. Same thing with Italy and France, which are always popular with the G5 and Hawker jet-set.

I'm just pointing out the obvious. No one can come on here and deny anything about that list I gave, as it relates to their own church. I don't care what name is on the sign out front.

Awesome. Never seen a poor Anglican until now. The law seems like something that only a Democrat could love.

Love it. I need to research and see if that church has an airplane.

Now that he has the swanky digs, his next book can pay for the Hawker or G5.
