what was a 14 years old child doing out that tie of nite alone and where were the parents. I have three boys myself. My kids are 20,19,16 and I stay on them all the time.I tell them do not want to be grown before your time and about do not deal with the wrong crowd and party's. If we as parents lead our children in the right path so much of this would not be going on send the kids to school and church tell they will do better in life and i know they will. Give God some of your time and you will see good things happen.

There's a right way to raise kids and a wrong way. Too many parents in this city give the raising of their kids no more consideration than if they had a litter of puppies. As soon as they get big enough they send them out on the streets and they wonder why they get in trouble, get killed or turn up pregnant. Too many baby daddies and baby momas without the common sense to stop fooling around with everything that comes up to them. And their kids will probably be even worse than this generation. I agree with you Ms. Davis in that they need parents who will give them time, make sure they do good in school and are raised in a real church. But Danville - the City of Churches - has too many churches that are nothing but social or political gathering halls. The Gospel of Christ isn't on their agenda and they don't care about the lost living in their backyards. They're simply clubs for the clubing crowd. The Christians in this area have failed in their commission and they turn a blind eye to what is going on around them.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Virgo

Mercury is turning retrograde at just the right time, because it's telling you to consider the validity of your long-term aims and aspirations. If they stand about as much chance of seeing the light of day as you do of winning the Lottery, then you need to streamline them or even abandon them and start again. So think about what you want from life and how you're going to get it. Children and romance may be quite erratic during this phase.
