Since our good leaders of this town have taken away the rights of smokers I feel that they should now work real hard to eliminate all alcoholic beverages also. Close all taverns, do not allow alcohol to be served in any public place. If you want to drink then it should be done in the privacy of your own home. Second hand smoke MIGHT cause a problem for some, but it will take a long time. I can promise you that if you have just a couple of drinks your reflexes are not as fast behind the wheel of the car and you can wipe out a whole family in a split second. Forbidding establishments to serve liquor will never happen though will it Mr. Devlin since you and your cronies like to sit and guzzle the good old hard liquor. I can't tolerate people who drink and I certainly do not want them on our city streets. So - when are you going to abolish this practice and make our city safe? If smokers have to give up their pleasures then the consumers of alcohol should be punished equally. Smokers can sit home and smoke their tobacco and boozers can remain at home to drink their alcohol.
