Keep in mind that months before Timothy Flanagan left Framingham State University, he hired a provost (VPAA) Linda Vaden-Goad who was under investigation by the state of Connecticut for discriminating a professor at Western Connecticut State College (See Appel v. Spiridon, Rinker, Vaden-Goad). She was found liable both professionally and personally, and was hired in Framingham among candidates beyond reproach.
