How many of the clueless dullards in Richmond have ever heard the term SAP (Special Access Program)? Overhead imagery platforms? Now, how many police cars can dish out tickets at, say, 30 miles up? In the land of the libocrat Don Quixote looks like a deep thinker.

Remember this, when we need them, we wont have them. Im sure tired of people believing that everything the government does, is improper. You guys have permission to move elsewhere, any time you want.

Nope, we're staying right here. We in Virginia still value our freedom and privacy, whether you like it or not, so you yourself can certainly feel free to GTFO.

Who needs drones when every cell phone conversation can be triangulated? This is why drug dealers dump their phones every week or so.

We need to catch those kids drinking booze on school buses because of the drug dealers. Those drones will see them.

Is that what you do. That can get expensive. How much do you spend on all those phones you throw away?

I'm sure tire of Nanny-State advocates who believe the answer to everything is government program and diminished individually liberty.

The United States is a unique country in all the world. YOU have my permission to move to any of the dozens and dozens of Socialist or Marxist or dictator dominated banana republics of the world.

For those of us who want to live in freedom and take responsibility for our lives and families upon OURSELVES, the U.S. is the LAST best hope.

It's no problem. As an underprivileged democrat I get all the Obama bucks and free Obama cell phones that I want. After all, you owe us more than you can ever repay..........

Without us street pharmacists the Charlottesville area would have another three thousand or so part time workers unemployed.

Glad that the politicians could so constructively agree not to allow this threat to invade our privacy (for at least 2 years!). Of course none of the Virginia law enforcement agencies have any drones in the budget yet so once they can afford to buy them the law will just quietly expire and meanwhile the politicians will look like they've done something 'important' for the moment.

It appears that you can do what you want as long as you are not law enforcement (or contracted to them (I assume)). I wonder what happens if a government entity accidently taps into a private owner's video feed.

Oh...so, our legislators have "banned" them from the airspace above Virginia. How, pray tell will they enforce this? Use the National Guard to shoot them down? The drones take off from another state - how do you stop them? You can't. The socialist president and DOJ will have no problem doing what they want. Unless the constitution stops them....oh yeah, they just ignore it. Wasted effort.

Drones should be used. Charlottesville has several neighborhoods that are too dangerous to send ground-police into. Drones can go into these neighborhoods and take out crack scooters, etc to neutralize an area before sending men in by foot or Crown-Vic.

What neighborhoods are you talking about in Charlottesville, that are hidden?
