New YMCA Planned For McIntire Park

Can't wait for the new Y to get built and operational -- once it's running we'll look back on this last few years of "save mcintire" hysteria as an embarrassing moment of nimbyism duped by the pricey would-be monopolists at ACAC. If our Y turns out as nice as the Jamerson Y in Lynchburg, it will be the pearl of the Park.

Don't bad mouth ACAC. Its done a lottta good for a lotta folks. I predict that traffic problems in and out of McIntire Park will increase and require another light on 250 which will make it even less of a "bypass."
