i would think te opposite of the Gov. they need to drop the radical far right wing. it may be too late, it seems from this cycle's primary run that conservatism is not part of the party platform anymore. radical right is the new party...

Broaden its base? it needs to reinvent itsef, if possible. Not likely, old fat white guys are terribly stubburn and their egos want let them. All elementary, the Grand Ole Party is over, time to sober up.

Actually, Three million conservatives didn't show up at the polls, it wasn't the platform, it was the right ignoring them promoting moderate candidates. They need to get their own house in order before looking at ways to look liberal.

Obama had 9 million less voters this time than in 08. He had his own problems also, the GOP's were just worse.
