What is the danger of having a pellet gun, except on squirrels?

If there was no immediate threat to students or staff, a lockdown is unnecessary. It only creates more disruption within the school and classroom instruction. No one was in harm's way, as they removed the unloaded pellet gun and took the boy out of school as soon as they got word.

I thought they were talking about a real gun...but then again Clark, the pellet could lodge under the skin and cause an infection.

Did the pellet gun owner happen to make anyone bark like a dog?

What happens to the middle schooler? We're talking about a young teenager (at best). He made a stupid mistake. How expensive will this mistake be?

Hum,are they sure it was a "pellet Gun" sounds like it might have been a pellet cannon. Wonder if a swat team was involved? The State Police? The army? Criminal charges? Arethey going to treat him as an adult, with 30 years to life?

He will get in big trouble. There is absolutely no tolerence or judgment calls. My son got suspended from kindergarten for pointing a gun finger at another child years ago- imagine how stringent they are today.

Gee, can someone say ginning up hysteria for your own jollies after recent incidents? This is not newsworthy, and a press release could have been two sentences:
"Schools officials discovered an unloaded pellet gun that was brought in a student's backpack in error. The student was disciplined and the gun removed, with no risk or disruption to either students or instruction."

Rest of story only breeds hysteria; it is no one's business. Remember, Dennis the Menace carried a slingshot in the back pocket of his jumper.

We will be reading more sensationalized articles about guns, due to the left agenda to ban guns. The media is liberal and are controlled by leftists such as George Sores. He believes that we are all pawns in his great social experiment. Not sure who George Sores is, educate yourself, one very wealthy, powerful man.

My daughter took an apple corer into her 7th grade class years ago, and they called me and took her up to the main office. We were admonished. Apple Corer -? Have you seen this circular device used in a homicide? So, I am not surprised that an airgun without ammo would require strip search and time in jail.
