Upgrades Planned For Azalea Park

The future of Charlottesville's Azalea Park will have neighbors talking. The Fry's Spring Neighborhood Association is taking a look at what can be done to improve the green space.

How about adding some restrooms. During summer weekends the park is full of kids playing baseball, people walking their dogs, runners and walkers on the trail, folk gardening and young kids at the playground.

All of whom get to share three porta-toilets, assuming none of them have been knocked over during the previous couple of days.

I HOPE THEY STILL TAKE CONSIDERATION THAT THE ALBEMARLE ATHLETIC ASSOCATION PLAY'S THERE. THIS IS THE ONLY SOFTBALL LEAGUE FOR GIRL'S IN CHARLOTTESVILLE AND THE COUNTY.MOST OF OUR LEAGUE'S HAVE A HOME FIELD.THESE GIRL'S HAVE NO HOME FIELD AND PLAY WHERE EVER AND WHEN EVER...
