I realize this guy is a scumbag, and I don't condone his actions in any way, shape, or form, but couldn't our tax dollars be better spent? If the police weren't disguised as 13 year old's trolling for men, would this even have occurred? I wonder. Are we inventing a problem where none existed? Food for thought.

Michael, WTH are you thinking? Do you have a daughter? Obviously not, if they didn't catch him this way, god only knows what he would've done to an actual teenager....I hope they use up more tax dollars catching these punks!! Get Real Man!

The scarier thing is how stupid, obsessed and/or out of control these guys are to actually go online and do this. There is so much news about these predators, don't the other ones understand that they will get caught? They are blinded by their sickness, and that makes them dangerous.

Could your tax dollars be better spent than taking child predators out of circulation? Are you crazy? If this creep hadn't been praying on a "supposed" 13 year old, he'd have been praying on a REAL 13 year old. Isn't it better to PREVENT a crime than to deal with the aftermath of a factual crime. Kudos to the police! Nothing is worse than the dregs of society that pray on children. Get 'em out of circulation - and I don't care how you do it!

I agree. I don't have anything else to add other than don't you know this clown feels like a dumb sucker right now? Not that he doesn't deserve it but you have to laugh at someone so stupid.

Knowing that the cops are out there trying to catch these freaks, it is kind of dum to be trolling for young girls, that said I wish they would put as much effort into getting drugs off the streets. I guess its easier and safer sitting behind a computer than it is actully getting off your fat arse and doing real trolling for drug dealers.

If he hadn't connected with a cop eventually he would have connected with a real child. Which would you rather have happen, some tax dollars spent or a child saved from a predator.

If the police didn't target drug users so much they could stop more of these perverts.

WTH has a good point. An "actual" teenager ? These aren't "actual" teenagers, and most would be offended by you associating a fictitious on-line jailbait nympho with the average teen. Do you have a 13 year old daughter soliciting on the net? If so, then you have failed miserably as a parent and should be locked in the cell with the perv.

You are seriously an idiot! I bet if you had a 13 year old daughter that was planning on meeting up (or had met up) with an adult man I'm sure you would have been up in arms that the police weren't doing enough to catch these predators. But instead, you do like 99.99% of these idiots on here do and blame it on the police. There are better things that they could be doing with their time, they don't do enough of this, they don't spend enough time doing that. Is there anything that can make you **** clowns happy? Seriously! They gotta do something with their time. Last week a guy was complaining that they don't do enough and that they sit at Chic-Fil-a four hours on end and now you're dumb **** is complaining that they shouldn't be doing something productive. Make up your mind. Do you want them doing nothing or do you want them doing something productive? Either way, get over it. It all comes down to the fact that you're not the chief of police and therefore you (and all of your **** clown friends) have ABSOLUTELY no say in what the police do. Get over it. You take care of your job and they'll take care of theirs. End of story. You idiot!
While I can understand your frustration over this, it is important to note that yes, a lot of cops suck. Regardless of the topic of this thread, most people just don't trust cops, for good reason, if the porportions were to equate to the general population we would be in deep doodoo. alot of cops suck. But not state troopers, the saving grace of law enforcement in VA.,

"most people just don't trust cops,"

Would you share with us the methods you used to determine that most people don't trust cops. What survey sample of citizens did you use? What type of contact did you make (Phone or Direct)? Was a majority of respondents male or female? Did you break down your contact segments into socioeconomic groups? Was one of your questions whether or not your contact had any prior contact with law enforcement?

Get my point? Maybe the type of people you hang out with don't trust cops. I could only imagine why; but I would be willing to bet that in fact most citizens trust their local law enforcement.

Unless and until morally debased Americans resolve to execute every last one of these invidious psychopaths, they will rape and kill at will and will not stop. Why SHOULD sex criminals stop when they know damn well that society's commitment to safeguarding women and children is half ass, at best? Only when predators are routinely slain by their victims will this sickness even begin to recede.
