Charlottesville-Area Panhandlers Have Different Stories to Tell
It seems some of the homeless people in the Charlottesville area have found full-time work standing at busy intersections with their hands out.

I absolutely hate seeing the panhandlers at UVA corner & Fontaine/250. I see them everyday when the weather is good. They even have a schedule of days for each beggar. I don't have any sympathy for them. There are resources so they do not have to choose this lifestyle.
I walk a mile around them when I see them. The men just stare when they see women like walk by. I cannot stand to smell their cigarette smoke.
OUTLAW PANHANDLING. If they are not working and paying taxes, what benefit are they to society?
