I've never seen so many youngsters get so excited about something so horrible as our national debt. Good for them!

Unfortunately, kiddos, there isn't much we can do about the debt.

Our currency is so debased and worthless, it is doubtful that you'll still be using it by the time you graduate. The entire world's finances are an abject joke. A paper tiger, a house of cards.

All of your grand altruistic hopes for the future and your personal aspirations are heartbreaking when one considers what awaits the country and the world where you wish to fulfill them.

Don't look to your government to help you or protect you either. They are the reason your future is so bleak.

Take comfort in the cliche' that says "adversity creates opportunity" and look on the bright side: International economic/political/governmenta l/societal collapse is sure to offer many great career choices and "opportunities".

Good luck.

sure you could have, you could have stated that you have a belly button and it would have been infinitely wiser. This is the same rhetoric that the chicken littles have been espousing for thirty plus years, all while borrowing and spending.

How long do you think that's going to last?

Wait until interest rates go up....

You do know that the markets have been cut off from the economy by the FED due to it printing money and feeding it to Wall Street, don't you?

They represent nothing except a desperate attempt to stave off the implosion.

You called Adam Smith a communist, and cite a novel as economic theory, and then question what I know about? You've been exposed as a moron.

Increasing interest rates will lead to increased inflation, which will devalue the dollar, which will make the debt less expensive. The yuan is so closely tied to the dollar that when we move to increase interest rates, so will they. Our currency is strengthening in the global market place for the first time in 8 years.
I'm calling you and your retarded little sidekick a chicken little.

I also told you that I made that comment out of assumption based on some of your other posts and admitted my mistake but I can see that you're not interested in having a conversation. You have been exposed as an a..s.s.ho.le.
