It looks like some kind of search is underway at exit 118B? Lots of police on the scene...any ideas on what's happening out there?

The FBI was called. The FBI doesn't normally get involved in local investigations. Trust me, its better if they don't get involved.

Saw the same thing coming home this evening around 5:30, but there're been traffic stops there the last two days. It may just be radar traps.

I'm sorry...but this would not be criminal case if something or someone wasn't harmed, or abducted or if something illegal has happened...and for the police to not give us at least a HINT as to what's going on....is ridiculous...OK I understand that yes, it might upset the investigation as I understand this is sensitive material...but I hope to God if there is an abductor on the loose and a possible murderer (God forbid...) that they would at least let the public know...I am a student at UVA and I am very nervous...I am also a parent and this upsets me that we the public are not being told more...even if it's just a little hint...This is twisted..something has happened to this young woman obviously....I know it in my gut and I know a lot of people feel the same way. I guess it was only a matter of time before something like this hit our area..it seems like everything else bad is too...I hope that this young woman is found safe and sound but part of me wonders if she even is still with is....Or are they really looking for a body..

Please God..this is a young, BEAUTIFUL woman who has an extremely bright future ahead of her...Don't let anyone harm her..or any other young woman in our area..

Thanks,
Lily

I hope someone has taken some flyers to the campgrounds on the Skyline Drive. I think parts of the drive are now closed at dark, but that might be a place that would be considered a target area.

I hope Morgan is found safe and soon. I'm certain the investigators are doing all they can with what little clues they have. Sure everyone wants to know everything right now... Please allow the investigators to do their jobs. Morgan's safe return is their focus.

Statistics Statistics Statistics....

Sure they are what they are....

but what's really the likelihood of finding this young lady dead or alive?

Public safety should be an issue as well.
Though I do agree..
I hope she comes home safe..I grieve for her family

I know the police need to do what they need to do-but I think there are questions that need to be asked. Most girls when they go out go to the restroom in a pack not by themselves and in a place as big as JPJ how did she get outside looking for a restroom there are many attendents that could have dirested her. And why would she look for a ride hom when she neww she could just wait for her friends outside until the concert was over-after all she had her cell phone and could have contacted them to meet up. I dom't get it I think there is something fishy here. Know matter my feeling I know the police are doing all they can do and I pray for her safe return. My thoughts are with her family1

I really she is okay and will be back home alive.

What thing I'm wondering is...she brought her purse and cellphone when she left to go to the bathroom...why not her ticket? I automatically place my ticket inside my purse once I am seated. Plus, the bathrooms are near some exits in each floor or part of the arena. And most women bathrooms have a line that extend outside the door so it can be obvious where it is. Why did she have to go outside? The no reentry policy has been followed by most venues since the 911 incident. I don't think this policy should be changed.
Anyway, I hope she is alive and will be found.

I wonder if the security cameras were turned on at the JPJ the night Morgan went missing. It seems funny to me they couldn't get a tiny bit of information or a clue from the films if they were in use Saturday night. I hope the JPJ Center did their best on financing security for their parking lots considering the income they make from the performances at the JPJ Center. The traffic cameras around Charlottesville, VA. don't seem to be in working order with the speeding cars going about. I hope all information in this case is given to the public. I just wish the parking lot had more security for Morgan like they would have at a Walmart parking lot. Security Officers would of been worth the money to save a life. Does anyone know about any security measures taken for such a large crowd at the JPJ?

Was it Morgan's car or one of the friends that the girls drove to the concert?

How many miles would it had been for her to find a ride home with someone else. Were other people she would have know from the Blacksberg Area at the concert?

Did she tell her friends why she was outside of the arena?

Who's friend's phone did she call to notify them that she was outside of the arena and could not return. Did the investigators get the number off the friend's phone and trace it.

Dear God,

Please let Morgan be safe and bring her home to her family and friends.

I think they have already said why she walked out of the arena , she wanted fresh air. My assumption is maybe she ingested too much alcohol , drugs or both. I am not judging her, I just think that there was a need for her to get out of the arena. I am also worried that we hear too many cases of abductions like this, but at this point several days later, we all know this is a body recovery and not a search anymore.
I know the day my daughter turns 18 she will be given a gun to carry, when she turns 21 it will become a concealed gun !

As someone said yesterday, I don't know WHY the JPJ staff/security couldn't have at least let her back inside (if she didn't have her stub or whatever) to wait in the lobby or concession area. That was a horrible judgement call on their part.

Praying for her safe return.

There are hundreds in the C'ville area just waiting for the call to go out to assist with this search. I understand there are problems with disturbing evidence but we can help!!!!
