Harrington Press Conference Held Wednesday

In a press conference Wednesday morning, Virginia State Police released a timeline of what they believe is Morgan Harrington's whereabouts leading up to her disappearance on the evening of October 17.

ok, this might be crazy, but what if she sat on the side of the bridge over the railroad tracks and fell into a passing coal car headed to Norfolk then was loaded onto a freighter bound for over seas. I know how crazy that sounds...

Hope she is found. Why did she leave the concert after getting inside? Seems like something is missing from this puzzle.

I'm w/ you Crazy Idea. Maybe I'm naive but I just don't think she was randomly abducted. I feel like something really bazaar happened. What I don't know but I sure do hope they hurry up and find her. Its so sad and its got to be so awful for her parents, I can't even imagine the pain they're feeling.

That possibility popped into my mind as well. I believe the coal cars that fuel UVA's plant travel those tracks also. I'd assume they could check the timeline and see if a train was passing through the area at that time.

It sure is odd that she left her purse in the parking lot, so I'd assume she was in a struggle or she really didn't know what she was doing at the time.

Maybe it's just my opinion, but I find it strange that the security guards at the concert would not allow a 20 year old woman, who is ALONE back inside where her friends are. I find it hard to believe a 20 year old girl should be sent away from a concert when she no where to go?? Maybe JPJ should reconsider a few of there policies. Has anyone heard of information from the guards who would not allow her back in? Or why she went outside in the first place?

I feel at this point every detail should be released . Let something jog the publics memory . I feel strongly from the reaction to the question about Morgan's "condition" , was she high ? lt. Joe Raiders reaction was suspicious at best . Raders reaction gave me the impression she possibly under the influence of something .

After 10 day's . All facts and theories should be in front of the public .

They have a very strict no re-entry policy there. It's not to hurt people like in the case of this girl, but we could only imagine how many people would try to get in the concerts for free by using the excuse of "opps! I left my ticket inside with my friends!..."

I wonder if they are checking any and all computers she may have used prior to the concert to see if she had secret plans to meet someone outside of JPJ arena that night. There was no need for her to say one thing (going to the restroom) and then do another (went outside). I'm wondering if she met someone she had prearranged to meet that turned out not to be so nice or maybe she ran off with them and her purse was accidently left on top of the vehicle that drove off? I heard the battery was knocked out of her cell, that could have come from dropping the purse hard like from the top of a car or maybe from use the purse as a weapon.Just an idea.

If the police really want to get more information, they really need to hold a press conference where they answer questions and provide honest answers. I believe the answer lies in determining WHY she left the arena. Some of the missing information may cause others to offer more information. Also cellphone records of anyone she spoke with or texted with in the 3 days prior may shed some light.

Maybe this is in some way connected to the Halloween Holiday. Are there any occult groups in that area? Her physical profile fits the type of person they might use for some sick Halloween ritual.

I think most of us are praying, but come on lady, this is a forum....designed for people to...ummmm....talk???? If your grandkids are the praying type then I doubt seriously they could be that close to Morgan. Think about it.

A good society will not tolerate our young women being abducted. The arena and promoters will make millions on that concern; yet fail to provide security for those attending. If she was to be locked out, than a secure waiting area needed to have been provided. WAKE UP, THE NEXT YOUNG WOMAN TO DISAPPEAR MIGHT BE YOUR DAUGHTER, YOUR WIFE, OR YOUR FRIEND. let's stop this now.
