Am I being scammed or is their just a temporary problem with their email?I put up a resume on Craigslist and was contacted by a potential employer. I have been emailing back and forth with this person for two days, but have no way of verifying their identity currently because they are a start up with no website. The issue is that today I tried to respond to one of their emails, they have a ymail account, and my mail service delivers an error code that says they do not exist as an account.
Is it possible to have your email address appear as one thing, but actually have it be routing somewhere else? I have been sending them emails for two days with no problem, so they are going somewhere.
I have not given them any information that I am worried about, but I have never had this happen to me before and would like to not waste my time if its some scam I haven't heard of. It also could be a problem with their server I suppose, but I just don't know enough about this.
