Methadone

Need help in finding out the truth if the word is getting out about methadone being prescribed as a pain pill ? It is very cheap compared to other pain killers & hit the market several years ago. Methadone is a very unstable drug it can stay in your system up to three days, it is true one 10 mg. pill can kill. It is a dangerous/deadly drug that whether taken alone or in combination with alcohol/drug the majority leads to death. Any comments would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Methadone IS a semi-popular drug around here. There is another pill, thats the generic methadone but they are like 10 to 15 dollars a piece, so I don't know where you come up with cheap. These kids around here can probably get their hands on that, xanax, valium, ceraquil (sp?) and anything else they want pretty easily. Parents should really worry about their children growing up in Newark anymore.

I am not familiar with a generic Methadone.If you know Methadone pills are being sold for $10-15 a piece then they are being sold by diversion on the street. They are being prescribed by Pain Management Clinics, Doctors and Methadone Clinics. Exactly where Oxycontin got started that has led to more addictions and overdoses. I do not believe most know that Oxycontin is 20 times stronger than Morphine.Seriously, when they are getting in to the hands of young people it is because they got them from the medicine cabinets from their parents or grandparents.Methadone is the #1 prescription pill killing innocent victims at an epidemic rate all across the United States.Need more proof google Methadone. Please, if you know of anyone taking this lethal drug and hear a loud snoring call 911 immediately.You might save a life.

Wow never thought about this till now. Narcotics of any kind are dangerous and people should keep them under lock and key if prescribed them. They should also keep a close count on how many they have. These are very dangerous drugs.

this drug is use to treat pain and people who are addicted to drugs;its a strong narcotic and if abused can cause over dose; had friend to over dosed on this she was taking 80 mg a day then went to 100. was found dead behind grocery store. yes it VERY DANGEROUS

I agree Methadone is dangeous but it is deadly , also. No one has to abuse Methadone to overdose. One 10mg pill can kill. Thank you for your comment and input. So deeply sorry about the loss of your friend.
