Anyone miss having the Acacia in town?

I DONT MISS THE ACACIA, BUT I DO MISS BEING STATIONED IN CHARLEVOIX ON THE COAST GUARD CUTTER SUNDEW IN THE LATE 70'S.
CHARLEVOIX REALLY TOUCHED MY HEART.
I HAVE SOME REAL GOOD MEMORIES OF CHARLEVOIX AND THE SHIP THAT I WAS ON.
ALL EXCEPT ONE OFFICER ON THE SHIP BY THE NAME OF "BELL" WHO KNOW MATTER WHO IT WAS, HE HAD SOMETHING DETRIMENTAL TO SAY ABOUT THAT PERSON. THIS MADE EVERYONE WHO WAS STATIONED ABOARD THE SHIP, WISH THEY WERE STATIONED ELSEWHERE.
HE TURNED A RATHER HAPPY SHIP, INTO A SHIP NO ONE WISHED THEY WERE ON.

YEAH, I WAS ON THE VERY SAME SHIP WITH THIS OFFICER. HIS NAME WAS CHARLES BELL. HE WAS BROUGHT ON BOARD TO REPLACE THE OTHER EXECUTIVE OFFICER, BLANDFORD.
SOME SHIP MATES HAVE EVEN SAID THAT BELL EVEN MADE ADVANCES ON SEVERAL OF THEM. BUT WHETHER OR NOT THIS WAS TRUE, I HAVE NO IDEA. I JUST KNOW THAT HE NEVER MADE ANY ADVANCES ON ME. BUT OF COURSE, I WAS THE FATTEST PERSON ON THE SHIP.
THIS GUY JUST SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN KEPT ON BOARD THE SHIP. SEEMS AS THOUGH MOST OF THE CREW, WERE PUTTING IN FOR TRANSFERS.

HEY YOU GUYS, EVIDENTLY THE TWO OF YOU ARE LIVING IN THE SAME REGIONAL AREA AS I. WE NEED TO GET TOGETHER SOMEDAY FOR A REUNION.
DAMINE, YOU WERE RIGHT. LT. BELL TRIED TO HIT ON ME AS WELL. I KNOW THAT YOU WERE ON THE HEAVY SIDE, BUT I THOUGHT LT BELL WAS SORT OF HEAVY HIMSELF. JUST DOES NOT FIGURE, WHY HE LEFT YOU ALONE, BUT HIT ON ALMOST EVERYONE ELSE.
I EVEN WROTE AN ANONYMOUS LETTER TO COAST GUARD HEADQUARTERS, BUT THEY EVIDENTLY SWEPT MY COMPLAINT UNDER THE CARPET. DONT KNOW HOW MANY COASTIES ACTUALLY HAD TO VISIT HIS STATEROOM BACK IN OFFICER COUNTRY.
HE TRIED TO KISS ME ON THE MOUTH ONE LATE NIGHT. I SIMPLY TURNED AND WALKED AWAY. WONDER HOW MANY ACTUALLY HAD TO DO WHAT HE SAID?

I knew an electricians mate on the Sundew in the late 60's, last name was Gray...went to em school with him in Groton...ring any bells.

No bells here, but of course, I never was on this ship. Only worked at the station.
What I would like to know, is this?
The Sundew from a friend of mine, who was stationed on the ship, mentioned that the Sundew would occasionally dump its sewage out into Lake Michigan and the other lakes late at night when they would not be seen.
I would like to know if the Acacia had the same practice.
This would be tons of sewage, but yet anyone else would be fined.
