Mrs. LaBlance was always full of happiness and smiles. Its sad she was taken from us. What we need to hold on to is what she gave us. She taught us music. She gave the gift of music in her lessons. She never seemed to be angry just upset when you disobeyed her. Her musicals were always amazing. How did she get the kids to learn those dances in little time. For the people who had that wonderful woman for the years she taught, we are truly blessed to have a wonderful woman in our lives. We need not remember her by the cancer but by the smile she always had on her face and how the whole room lit up when she walked in. She will be in my heart forever. You can't just forget someone as great as her.

Mrs. Lablance was like the lyrics to your favorite song....words and memories never to be forgotten. She retired from teaching music in the 2003-2004 school year only to begin the battle against colon cancer. During the last few weeks of her life, we gathered outside her home and sang some of the songs we were taught as kids. We were truly blessed with Marina LaBlance in the years she was available. I hated to see my little brother go through elementary school without her. I know I'll never forget her smile or those tears of joy after every musical when the students would present her with flowers. She derseved them!
Mrs. LaBlance always had a positive attitude and she never gave up hope. She believed she could win the battle against cancer but I guess that just wasn't possible. God wanted her for a certain task and I believe that task was to teach the angels how to sing.
She is greatly missed!

Marina...i still remember everything about her.Her smile was just so beautiful i get teary even writing about. Her laugh was my favorite thing ever to listen to and still is. Her eyes sparkled all the time like stars we used to look at in the dark night sky. Whenever i was sad she was quick to cheer me up and she made me laugh quite easily with her funny personality.I knew Marina since i was just a baby..and the second i heard my mother tell me the awful news i had started to grieve and still am...i know she is with us all... every moment and every breath we breathe we share with her...I will never ever forget Marina because you can never forget an angel..especially one like her! WE ALL LOVE YOU MARINA!!!
