It's the roads fault a car crossed the center line, wow fasinating.

The woman either had a medical problem or was doing something she shouldn't have been while driving like messing with a cell phone or it was a suicide or the car had a mechanical failure.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to these families, a tragedy.

NH likely has the slowest speed limits for similar roads by far across the country. What is 35-40 in NH is often 50-55 elsewhere other then in town/city density. Most accidents are preventable, to blame the road (or State) is like blaming the gun for murder.

That whole road I believe is cursed! It has claimed way to many lives. Joe you sound a little heartless! You know nothing about the driver of the van. It wasn't a suicide! She was a great person and did so much for so many people, from some many walks of life. please pray for all involved. God Bless.

the road there is bad, before they paved it if it rained there would be pools and you'd hydroplain badly.
also the state highway seems to take their own sweet time repairing/replacing guardrails through that section which is another safety issue.
an accident is just that an acident but that whole section needs to be replaced with a wider more modern road as the current road has no breakdown lanes and your only choices should something go wrong are the river, the railroad tracks or most likely an accident or if you can get off that section somehow.
NH spends tons of monies on route 9 why not rt.12 Charlestown and in that section.
and then again the guard rails in that section suck, why they ever spent all that money on those guardrails in walpole is beyond reason when they could have used those funds to fix that Charlestown section and make it safer for everyone.

This is a comment to Joe. How can u speculate about what happened to this women. For ur imformation this was a very vibrant women full of life. She would do anything for anyone. She would never take her own life let alone risk hurting someone else in the process. Also her dogs (girls were killed too. I send out my prayers and thoughts to her husband and family. RIP MCB

it's easy to speculate, just do it. There are thousands of people who commit suicide and their friends & family never saw it coming. Suicide by staged traffic accident is probably more common than anyone wants to admit and done by people who want to die, but don't want their friends & family thinking they did something to cause it.

with thousands of people commiting suicide a year and 10's of thousands of people dying in car wrecks, it's only logical to conclude some people don't use a gun or pills to die, they use a car to kill themselves.

she just happened to cross the center line at the exact second a large pickup was coming at her and that driver had no chance to avoid her, sounds to me it's (( possible )) it wasn't an accident.

one woman tried to get a truck head on with her 10 year old daughter in the car, truck driver ditched his truck to avoid a direct head on hit and the kid told the cops it was no accident, her mommy tried to hit the truck head on.

we could not talk about the possibility and let people think their friends & family will believe they died in an accident or talk about it and not let these people who are doing it check out without it ever entering anyones mind they commited suicide.

There is the people in the other vehicles to think about and wack jobs are taking other people out with them.

Nobody will ever know if the woman did it, but to say it's totally impossible isn't logical thinking when thousands of people commit suicide and everyone who knew them is stunned because they seemed like normal happy people with a lot to live for.

to think out of 40,000 fatal car wrecks a year none of them where suicide isn't rational thinking and out of millions of more car wrecks none of them where attempted suicide isn't rational thinking.

Interesting point, one that puts things in perspective. 40,000 plus "deaths" annually in this country is a heck of number. And it doesn't fluctuate much year to year.

Then why are we not holding hearing after hearing to improve this number. Why, because it's has no PC value like Iraq does ! Makes our losses in Iraq look pretty small!

Ponder this one!

too much money being made by insurance companies and law enforcement addressing the so called car accident problem.

the number of suicides by car is unknow along with the number of people who fall asleep while driving.

cops show up and if the driver had been drinking they put that down as the cause or if they can figure out they where speeding they put that down as the cause, the chance of it being tagged fell asleep or suicide are near zero.
