CARROLL TERRACE APARTMENTS
VOTING IN THE DECEMBER CARROLL TERRACE RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION (CTRA) COUNCIL ELECTIONS WILL BE HELD ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2013 IN THE COMMUNITY CENTER BETWEEN 5:00PM-7:00PM.
After careful investigation of the list of QUALIFIED CARROLL TERRACE TENANT NOMINEES currently running for the 2014 CTRA BOARD OF OFFICERS --
THE **BEST (5) CANDIDATES TO CLEARLY VOTE FOR** ARE:
Dave C.(ON BALLOT)
David S.(WRITE-IN NOMINEE)++
Janet M.(ON BALLOT)
Jennifer D.(ON BALLOT)
Sherry G.(ON BALLOT)
++All candidates have been on the 2013 CTRA ballot for quite some time, with the exception of the Vice President candidate who most recently elected to run as an OFFICIAL WRITE-IN NOMINEE on 12/01/13.
These nominees are amongst the rare few found to be WORTHY in character, integrity, intelligence, dedication, selflessness, and strong work ethics CRITICALLY NECESSARY to serve as the 2014 CTRA BOARD OF OFFICERS. They have committed themselves to WORKING TOGETHER AS A UNIFIED CTRA TEAM on behalf of tenants to address the MOST CRITICAL THREAT NOW FACING THE CARROLL TERRACE APARTMENTS IN ITS ENTIRE EXISTENCE -- THE PERMANENT CLOSING OF CARROLL TERRACE AND MANDATORY EVICTION OF **ALL** ITS TENANTS.
THE ABOVE-LISTED CANDIDATES' PRIMARY GOAL WILL BE TO UNITE RESIDENTS COLLECTIVELY TOGETHER IN A FOCUSED EFFORT TO KEEP THE COMPLEX FROM BEING CONDEMNED BY U.S. HUD AND THE STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA AT THE END OF 2014.
If elected, these CTRA Board Officers will work DIRECTLY and UNILATERALLY with Federal, State and local agencies, organizations, and groups on your behalf to PUBLICLY PRESSURE THE CHARLESTON-KANAWHA HOUSING AUTHORITY ("CKHA") NON-STOP in demanding COMPLETE REFORMATION OF THE CARROLL TERRACE APARTMENTS in strictest accordance with all FEDERAL and STATE housing- and non-housing laws governing the U.S. HUD-subsidized, senior-citizen hi-rise.
The great CTRA challenge in 2014 will be to enforce FULL AND PERMANENT COMPLIANCY by CKHA of the entire:
(1) CARROLL TERRACE EDIFICE [building structure, apartments, elevators and stairwells, laundry room facilities, communal centers, hallways, corridors, and outside property grounds];
(2) ENVIRONMENTAL AIR CONTROL [mandatory contaminant-free filtration and circulation throughout the entire building including apartment units at all times]; and
(3) QUALITY-OF-LIFE RESTORATION [expulsion of ALL criminals regardless of race, creed or color, dangerous and/or violent individuals (mentally ill or not), drug distributors, dealers, and users, nefarious fire starters, deviant sexual exhibitionists, prostitutes, chronic alcoholic drunks, panhandlers, and repeat unsanitary, health-code violators.]
