There is only one national anthem. To allow others to make up their own based on race is nothing but racism in the highest degree and disrespectful to the rest of the country. The national anthem takes in all races not just one particular group.

I definitely don't agree with them playing a national anthem from another country, however he was taken to the board over the situation and the kids aren't required to stand for the anthem now. I don't see this going away anytime in the near future and it shouldn't because now they aren't even required to stand for our national anthem either, that in my opinion is pure disrespect. Just another example of how our country is being flushed down the toilet! Way to go principal!

When I was at Capital I remember Giles taking the 9th grade class into the auditorium and yelling us all that it is the white mansion fault that the black man can succeed. That's what I remember from Capital High

Yes, as a matter of fact. Like maybe the fiscal cliff, or the fate of Egypt and Israel. Maybe the global recession that we're in.

I remember my Grand-Dad saying when Hoover was first opened it was an "all white school". The principal was asked if it was an all white school and he said "NO". They started hiring blacks, hispanic teachers so that the kids would realize that it was not an "all white school". It was "all white" because no other race lived in the area at the time. Now it is not the case.
