Who thinks it was arson? Did you notice how fast the building was demolished? The owner couldn't get the bulldozers there any faster it was like they beat the fire department to the scene.

I sure hope not, but I wouldn't put it past Bill. He's getting old and that place might have been hard to sell. One nice big check from the insurance company facilitates a nice retirement added to the income from the other two Cold Spot locations!

Uhhh... the news said the fire department called Loftis construction to tear down the walls so they could get to the hotspots without injury to the firemen..... You will have to come up with something better for your conspiracy theories. Hahahahahahahaha

Simple answer?
Grease.
Years of it.
Where you can't see.

Well if it was grease then the place had to be filthy. Bar rescue and John Taffey would have eaten him alive. Bet the kitchen was deplorable and those idiots were still loyal to a bum like Bill. I never frequented the place because of all the drug activity done right out in the open.

Have you noticed dives like the Coldspot and any other bar/restaurant that burns down always happens between 3:00 and 5:00 A.M. where there's nobody around to see what happened or stop it before it got bad. Always when no one is around...Hmmm!. How many strip bars were burned to the ground by arson over the years at that time of the night?"Many were." A fire seems to never occur during the daylight hours where it can be contained.

My arms are raised.

Just read where because of the dozers demolishing the building fire investigators may never know what started the fire. How convenient huh? Believe me it won't be the first time a bar has suspiciously burnt down and I am sure it won't be the last...huh Bill? My hand is raised.

worked for Bill for a long time and know him well enough to be capable of torching the business without thinking twice. I bet the fire Marshall's didn't investigate the scene, because Bill kissed ass with the city & state by bribing with free food. I can remember when the 'drunk' food poisoned some state employee's that he catered a party for. He always accused all of his employee's for stealing from him, because he was too drunk all the time to watch the business. He ran off some loyal employee's as well as thief's! So..., yeah!, I think he burnt the 'Cold Spot' down...he can only trust one son, Allie is a piece of shit and would bankrupt Bill in a month.

If I were a betting man my money would be on it being arson. Like the above person said it isn't the first time a bar owner has done it and it won't be the last. There are some bar owners, not many mind you, but still there are some whom no one would even remotely consider them burning down their establishment, but this dude aint one of them. I bet 9 out of 10 of the regular customesr assume it was arson.
