So I have been talking to a man from Ghana & really care about him. I know there's a lot of scams going on down there but, I think you can't judge them all. He says he wants to marry me & start a family down here. I'm just worried he's trying to marry me for a green card then disappear.I need an honest opinion please don't bit your tounge

When you get married they'll ask for his green card and if he doesn't have a green card then they'll take him to jail or send him back.
I thought that's how he would get a green card by marrying a us citizen. To be honest I'm really confused I have been looking at articles on the internet & they make them seem like the worst people on earth

Well he should make his way here establish himself and get his own green card , citizenship then marry him. If he doesn't want that then run the other way!

He is a scammer desperate for a green card and the U.S. welfare dole. You also are desperate if you are seeking a husband from a foreign country on the internet. Clean up, get off the sauce and drugs. Go to church where there is some decent man looking for a clean, d&d free female to treat well for the rest of his life.

Who are you to judge this person? How do you know she drinks or does drugs? People like you are the exact reason that I do not attend church.

I do believe in my God and savior and live my life as I would think would make me a good person, but in every experience with a church, they are full of the most hypocritical people who judge others on site, there is only one judge of a persons soul, and it is not you nor I...... And I don't see how giving 10% of my pay to the church is going to pay my way into heaven.

So honestly If I were a woman, the church is the absolute last place I would ever go to find a man. She has a better chance of finding a good man at the supermarket....

Ive had a few guys try to scam me. If he ask for money or wants you to pay his way here, he is a scammer. Also make sure you have talked on the ph not just online. You would be surprised what you can learn about a person over the ph. If says he is comming here make sure he has plans for where he is going to stay. He may be looking for someone to take care of him. So know what his plans are, just what ever you do be careful. Most of the time men from other counties are scammers, sad but true.

I am dating a Ghanian man who is educated with his own green card. He has lived in the States since he obtained his Masters Degree from Rutgers. We've talked about him becoming a citizen before we think about getting married so my family & friends have NO questions. Make sure he is established without you and listen to yourself. If you don't feel like it is right it probably isn't. Trust yourself!
