Most rednecks are reduced of intellectual content of the brain and co no longer function as human beings due to slow learning capabilities and DNA passed down from parents and ancestors..Most of their learning is through puberty stage of life. The male start their puberty at a very late time in life, usually in the late teens to twenty five years, very slow learners, but once they reach the magic twenty five, their brain will no longer process new information. From that point on it is bib overall, tobacco spittin', potbellied, long bearded, shotgun carrying, sasquatch hunting until they are no more. But they are diligent with the keyboard, they love to argue. I find them very interesting.

Even though I know you're not retarded enough to to be considered intelligent, you're still a winner! I'm sure the best part of you, was formed on the backseat of a station wagon with cracker crumbs and dog hair in Daniel Boone park, later on turned into cockroach $hit that was licked upon by dpgs. Yes Nancy those are the same dpgs that you seen flying around in the donut case as you reach in and grab you a donut, in that gas station you frequent. Those are the same dpgs that you see kissing the cheese on your puppy's peepee in those hot summer days. Over your way those dpgs are called, "dog pecker gnats"! I'm sure you and dpgs have identical DNA! Lol!

<quoted text>
Can God create a rock big enough that he/she/it can not pick up?
This question is designed to undermine the logic of Christianity - even God cannot be able to do everything and also not be able to do something.

The fact that Nancy side stepped the question rather than trying to wrap her head around that logic is because followers of Christianity are taught to disregard ideas that defy Christian teachings as evil or being influenced by Satan. Satan isn't trying to rock your faith, Nancy, reality is. Your belief in God and Satan is defied by reality, not mean people or stupid people, just people who want to point out that reality makes your ideas illogical.

Your God cannot have all abilities and also be lacking abilities - it is impossible - therefore, your religious ideas must be flawed. Are you ready now to reconsider your religious ideas?

You do not about the God that I know about! The God that I know is the God of your god and can do all things. Nothing is impossible with the God that I know.

Think deeply about what you are saying - nothing is impossible?? Of course some things are impossible. You cannot have something and also not have it. You cannot know something and also not know it. You cannot do something and also not do it.

Can God create a rock too heavy for him to lift?

Well, yes, since God can do anything. But, if God can do anything, why can't he lift that rock?

So, the answer must be no, but then that would prove logically that God cannot do anything and disprove your idea that he can.

You are using hypotheticals if's! There is no hypotheticals with God. Who is saying God can not lift a rock? God just created the universe and lifted it into place. On the contrary to what you're saying, I believe in creation, I believe God created man from the dust of the ground and breathed into that dirt and that dirt ball became a living soul. Now if I can believe that, and I do. I believe God can do any thing.

That's you now being illogical.Thats like asking if God can create a deity that could defeat him.The question is why would he? He wouldn't because he's knows he's the ultimate. And since he's also a jealous God his ego is such that he wouldnt want to play second fiddle in his orchestrated universe. Why would he create a rock he couldn't lift? He could but he's smarter than you and once again its a waste of his time.He could make it heavy enough but then again he could destroy it with his thor hammer if he chose to make one.You know, kinda like man erecting a sky scraper too heavy for him to lift yet he can bring it to rubble if he chooses.Hell who knows perhaps he can think and make it to heavy and rethink and make it light enough to lift. You know the ultimate mind over matter.

Nothing I've said indicates I follow man. Your hypothesis is incorrect again. You've thrown out biblical beliefs like people throw out candy at a parade! I follow my own belief, not yours, Nancy's or any other human being. A fact is that no 2 "Christians", like most all religions, believe the same thing, the same way!
I've been both a leader and follower. One must know how to follow by example to be a leader. I'm not ashamed to ever be a follower, that promotes comaraderie.
Just because you hope to be above most with your belief does not make you any better than the next. That being said, you're no better than anyone because you use physics to strengthen your belief. That only means you needed further help to maintain your faith...more power to you! You wouldn't have known anything about physics without the help of man.
The only sound bite I've seen was your opinion about God taking innocent children's lives thru barbaric acts by man. That's a similar take as terrorism. Terrorists have the same kind of belief, by killing innocent people and children, for evil purposes. You should be ashamed for your belief, since I assume at one time you was a child too?
I have no doubt that you are most likely a bigot! Shame on your bigotry!
But you do follow man.you've bought into the false doctrine of evolution. It probably began at an early age but was strengthened by likewise reprobate minded professors in college or science shows. You question others beliefs because you are the one thinking you're more well read and therefore better or smarter..I find a correlation between science and religion. You use science to debunk religion. You are bigoted toward followers of a deist, specifically Christians. At least your practicing what you preach...against.Doesnt that make you hypocritical? I have no doubt that you are most likely a liberal.LOL

You can label what I say but you can't come lose to what you're seeking! Evolution is your worry not mine. I never believed the world was flat as you may have once believed. I guess you know me better than I do....not so fast my friend!! Because you can't follow or comprehend what I've said doesn't make me wrong and you right! I never questioned anyone's belief. I asked a simple question that requires some to question themselves and others to use physics. Just because I have a difference of opinion does not mean I'm far from the truth. You have an assuming approach....assumptions are not always going to lead a thirsty horse to water. Better? Smarter? Never claimed that either but I do thank you for thinking so!
No 2 people think alike....that has been true in science, religion and so on.
Liberal? Nope buddy I'm human! Would I suit up and follow you? From the way you express yourself I'd shortly be leading my own path and I wouldn't care if it was the long winding bumpy path!

Yes, this is a hypothetical question. It supports the theory that it is impossible that God can do anything, including creating tasks that he cannot do. It's a logic circle that Christians choose to ignore, but it exists in REALITY.

Like it is your hypothesis that God can do anything and also, that God created the universe and lifted it into space. It is a theory because it is not proven and can only be a theory until it is proven and there is no evident way to prove such a thing. You believe your theory because you choose to, not because it is necessarily true. I do not support your theory, but for the same reasons, I choose not to, but the truth is still unknown.

So, since we're all discussing theories and hypotheses, then the rock question is no less legitimate than any other and without even answering the question, it points out the conflicting logic that it takes to believe that God can do anything. In addition to believing whatever you choose to be the truth, you are ignoring the REALITY of the conflicting logic that makes up your "true" idea.

No, I'm not being illogical and you quite obviously got my point. CAN God create a deity that could defeat him? If God can do anything, he must be able to do that. If God is unable to be defeated, then he must not be able to do that. What is the answer, yes or no? The question is not "would" he do it, the question is: "could" he do it.

You are suggesting that God could create a rock if he wanted to and destroy it if he wanted to - but that wouldn't be a rock he is unable to destroy then, would it? You are suggesting that God can allow himself to be defeated if he chooses, but then he would not be unable to be defeated then, would he? Logic doesn't allow for anyone or anything to be able and also unable to do things simultaneously - even magical God creatures.

And do you not assume or do you have the secrets of the universe. Are you agnostic? Do you even know who, what or where about anything when it comes to belief or faith? You feel the need to seek opinions or at least debate them then ridicule those who answer.Sounds like you have an empty hole right thru the middle of your soul.Sorry I couldn't be the guru you seek. And as far as the universe being considered flat then why does the book of isiah describe it as a circle. It also describes proper hygienic practices when the Egyptian empire was putting dung on open wounds. It also describes the the wind and water currents only now proven by modern meteorology equipment. And lets not forget the dietary laws given to the ancient Israelites that are right on the money as it pertains to clean and unclean foods(cholesterol). You might be a proud atheist or agnostic but by my standards you're just another reprobate minded infidel.LOL

Never claimed anything like your assumptions. No my friend, I am a believer! I don't have an affiliation of any, of any that you mention.
I asked a simple question and was belittled time and time again. Just because I do not follow where you want to lead me does not mean I'm atheist or agnostic! I find it amusing that you have to label me, much like another on this topic. You can certainly be like the other and try to paint my picture but it does you no good, you can't change my belief or my opinion, and I would never attempt that on you nor anyone else!
Hahaha....I've known that the world was round while I was being taught the world was flat according to early discovers of the world, so you kinda just felt the need to add characters to your post to take up space, for whatever reason?? Lol!
I see exactly where your mentioning of dung on wounds takes this topic....no where! That actually means not much too me as I am a environmental remediation worker and I maintain cleaner environment at work and home! I didn't learn what I know from the Egyptian Empire on hygiene! Smh!
Ummmm on the wind and water comment.....environmental remediation worker, cleaning up mans waste materials both hazardous and non-hazardous, remediation of contaminated water, air and soil, in appropriate PPE at all times!
You're too funny with your labeling tactics but once again you have failed at your feeble attempt. Aha.....there's that telltale hint of terrorism "infidel"! Lol! Ok check it out buddy....I'm not your atheist, agnostic, crusader, invader, or your infidel! Wth is wrong with you?
Oh I almost let it slip about your dietary tirade....so what I eat bacon, pork chops, ham and bacon! Tough $hit if you wanna cry, piss, moan and shout about that! Lol!
You don't own me and I would never claim to own you! You believe what you want and I'll stay doing the same!
Do hear that??? That sound??? Oh snap....that's the world's smallest violin, playing your song, "My Heart Bleeds for You...Not"! Lol!
Get a life! Too err is human! I err on the side of safety!
