Any one know if a guy that has been convicted of battery on myself buy property next to my home? Long story, a guy and his buddy's jumped me and bashed my head in with rocks, put me in hospital,we went to court and he was found guilty, the stuff keep coming, every day he would come to my house, then another fight, at my house, we went to court again! Found guilty. But now a small peice of land right across the street from my home the guy is buying. He is just doing it to cause me problems. Is there anyway that I can stop him legally from buying this property and causing these problems? any help plzz?
Nothing you can do to keep him from buying the property except buy it yourself, or buy the property from him. Sounds like you are afraid of him!

It would be terrible if his house caught on fire some day, wouldn't it?

Turn the tables. Find the anonymous meth tip line and turn him in whether he's cooking or not. Maybe buy some of the precursor material and set it on his backporch for them to find.

Do you have a restraining order against him ? I would think if there is some sort of order against him that would definitely be a violation. Seems like some sort of stalking law might possibly apply also. I would definitely call the police and if there is an order of protection - report him EVERY time he violates it ! Good luck

Well a peace bond usually means they are not allowed to be within a certain number of feet of where you are, no matter where it is. Call the magistrate to get details.
