when is it against the law to date. two ex wives at 71 i think thats a pretty good record. so when they searched his house i am assuming that although they did not find john. the police did find something illegal right.if they did i have'nt heard. also when are they going to post in a newsper the findings from the med examiner.

I did not say that in this particular case the police had a foot on his head. But I've seen/heard of enough examples that there is room for doubt regarding the police version of what happened.. BTW, it's easy to do when you have multiple LEOs on the scene and yes it has been done to others.

We have known Elton for over 30 years..The cops had a bad tip from someone he knew and it cost him his life..the police and the papers cannot get the story right, he was not a violent criminal, he only helped anyone that needed it. He only had one wife, 2 daughters but one wife..I am sure he did not give the cops any problems because he wasn't able to because of his health..someone should be investigated and held responsible.

some of you people are disgusting..I know for a fact that Elton was the kindest person around. We have know him for over 30 years and lived close to him at one time..in 1995 our son was visiting us, he had lung cancer and got sick while he was there, there was a very bad snow storm and we could not get out of our driveway, we called Elton in the middle of the night and he came right away and pulled us out..That is just one of the many things he has done for his neighbors..So why don't you people that did not know him KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT.The one person that was responsible for giving the ALMIGHTY STATE POLICE that tip will get caught sooner or later and I hope she gets punished just like I hope the state police gets punished

I think that is where you need to be...I just happen to have children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, I have never been in any jail, prison nor been stopped at anytime in my 69 years, you must be a young punk that thinks you know everything, believe me you have a lot of learning to do..I also have a nephew that is cop..

Pumpkin, I think you miss read story's reply. It was buck4me. Who, by the way, said the only good cop is a dead cop. How do you think that would make your nephew feel? Talk to him about thisbefore you pass judgement on the officers doing their thankless, dangerous job.

I have talked to him to great extremes and he feels the same as I do..He was also a very good friend to Elton and just because he was once in prison for drugs in 1976 doesn't mean he hasn't changed, we all know what kind of a person he was, not like the police and the newspapers have said, I guess anything to sell a newspaper.
