I blame the death on the mother. How could you drop previous domestic battery charges. You could have prevented this!!! What is wrong with women these days!!! I hope the guilt kills her. She's obviously not a good mother. She's what 35 and dating a 21 year old kid. Come on lady you could have done something!!!

How could she have dropped those charges before. She should have just walked away the day he put his hands on her!! This could have all been prevented!!!

I feel sorry for the children that witnessed everything happen that night. The mother should have NEVER put her child in a situation where he felt he had to protect his mom. She is to blame for his death just as her boyfriend is. It is a mother's job to protect her children and she failed.

I totally agree. At least child neglect or whatever for putting him in a home with her child/children. Dumbass for sure.

The mother should be facing child endangerment charges! She stayed in that relationship and allowed it to happen! It is her fault that child is dead! No way around it! She should be brought up on charges. I know she is upset over her child but no man is worth losing your child over. Put her ass in jail.

The mother should not be facing any charges! I know her and the rest of the family she is not guilty of anything so quit trying to make it hard on her because she's black. She didn't mean to put her child in this situation and she never would of thought something like this would ever happened. If you don't know anything about her or the rest of that family then shut your fu**ing mouths! RIP Jahlil and leave his mother alone.

It is the mothers fault, who cares what color she is or is not! The fact is she is a bad mother there is no way around that. The first time a man lays his hands on me in a violent way that's his one way ticket out the door. More women need to put their children first instead of their own needs. She should face charges of child indangerment and neglect, it's is her fault if it wasn't for her the guy would have not been there. It would be different if it was the first time he had abused her but we know that's not the case. Prosecute her!!!!

No one said anything about her being black! It is not a race issue! It is a issue that "She Chose" to stay in the abusive relationship therefor endangering her children by staying in that type of relationship! Its too bad that I am not the prosecutor because I would be going after her with a vengeance!

Yes I feel sorry for her and loss she and her family have suffered. No I'm sure sure she never thought this could happen. The fact of the matter is she put this sorry s.o.b. before her children by dropping charges. I hope she and other women learn from this.

Yes it is a race issue because he wasn't like that infront of the children. I do agree that she shouldn't of stayed with him but she wasn't prepared for something like this happening. It doesn't make her guilty for just being with him and like i said before if you don't know her or if you don't know any of them then shut your fu**ing mouths!!! If she knew that her kids were in any kind of danger she would of already been outta there. It is not her fault that he decided to jump on her that night and drag her across the road out of the car and beat the hell out of her. It's not her fault! He is the one who caused all of this. He is the only one who deserves to be locked up. That dirty mf deserves the death penalty for what he done.

It didnt take long for someone to pull out the race card...smh...how the hell does a person's skin color make a difference when it comes to domestic violence, or this particular tragedy? Seems like you, Tatiana, are the one who is bringing race into this and making it a big deal!! It doesnt matter if a person is black, white, yellow, brown...domestic violence is domestic violence!! People need to stop playing the race card...this could've happened to ANYONE OF ANY COLOR!!

I know of one of her realtives, who told me that Lynitrah Woodson, just "HAD TO HAVE A MAN." It didn't matter to her what he did to her, as long as she had a man. Now I'm sure she is full of regret for what happened to her son but she has not been a good mother to her kids. She has had arrests for theft, she has had drug issues and was just jailed a few months ago for not taking a scheduled drug test. Her two year old child with Chic-Colbert had to be taken by CPS, beacuse she was locked up. So Lynitrah Woodson has made several bad choices that put her kids in a situation that was not the best. She wants to play the victim but it takes two to play. I hate what happened to her son but he NEVER should have been placed in the posistion to try to protect his mother. He was a boy, not a man.

Please read the first line of your post: It is a race issue because he wasn't like that in front of the children. FIRST, how does that make it a race issue? SECOND he DID do it in front of the children hence the reason for the child's death. He has done it in front of the children multiple times and she still kept letting him come back to her and in front of the children. She put her children at risk as much as he did! She is no kind of mother and she needs to be formally charged as well! The living child needs to be taken away and given to someone that will appreciate the gift of life!

I know chic-colbert picked him up several times running out the crib scratched up shirt ripped off marks on his face he was not the only abuser in this situation I have seen with my own eyes Woodson trying 2 fight Chic-Colber! It is very sad that a child lost his life due too the fact both adults are stupid!! Yes she should have been charged as well it is a mothers duty to keep a child out of harms way they where headed home from a "Family Outing" clearly she knowingly and willingly put that baby in harms way!

First let me say that this post about Nitra breaks my heart.... Granted she made a mistake that she will pay for for the rest of her life.... but if u knew the real story he beat her ass bc he knew that if she got back to her house where her mother was his ass was had.... She was scared of him bc the kids were in the car.... Was this Ethan's fault???? Absolutely!!!! If she could trade places with Jahlil trust n believe she would.... Unless u truly know her n the situation u don't have shit to say!!!! At least Ethan got jail time she has to live without he babyboy til the day she dies..... No mother should have to bury her child.... Jah is missed every second of every day by everybody who knew that beautiful kid.... I set in that court room with her everyday... As she had to look at the man that caused her babies death...That was the hardest thing I've personally ever been thru.... Yes she made a bad decision that cost her her baby..... She's experiencing something worse than jail.... She has to get up every day without that beautiful smile greeting her!!!! I say she's paying the price for her poor judgement!!!! For the record.... HELL NO SHE DONT GO VISIT HIM.... Just sayin!!!!! FOREVER FAMILY!!!!!!
