VATICAN CITY (AP)-- Pope Francis called Friday for governments to redistribute wealth and benefits to the poor in a new spirit of generosity to help curb the "economy of exclusion" that is taking hold today.

BUT THE STUPID POPE DIDN'T PLEDGE ONE SINGLE PENNY FROM THE COFFERS OF THE VATICAN -- WHICH HAS WEALTH BEYOND COMPREHENSION -- IN THE TRILLIONS AND TRILLIONS.

NOW THAT IS PURE HYPOCRISY. CATHOLICS ARE LIKE THAT.

And if I may ask. How much money have you and 'go figya' given to the poor this week? None I bet. If I'm right, and I believe I am, then quit your bitchin' about others not giving.

If a man pouring syrup over pancakes for breakfast believes they will turn into Elvis Presley it makes him a lunatic and we put him in an asylum.......if a man says the same thing about a wafer and the body of Christ, it just makes him a catholic. smh

The point is, all religion, whether catholic, Protestant, Hindu, Islam, whatever, is bullshit. It's all man made. Just man's way of overcoming his fear of death.

The only difference is the man with syrup actually believes that Elvis will appear, the other example realizes that the act they're performing is symbolic and they aren't actually drinking the blood of Christ or eating his flesh. You dumb faithless heathens are very annoying. You give lame examples to prove your point, but the only thing you prove is how idiotic you really sound.

PS I'm not even Catholic

Excellent synopsis of the ones you stated!
Now compare that list to the number of preachers that there actually are and then let us see your statistics.

I don't claim to know what a catholic believes, my point was if the catholic says the same about a wafer as the first guy says about the pancake, we don't lock him up, symbolism notwithstanding.

I don't really see your point about the number of preachers....the argument for the 'belief of the majority is not a valid argument. After all, there was a time in history when every person alive believed the world was flat....that didn't make it any flatter.
