I am just leavin Charleston, W.V where i am originally from but now live in TN. We were there for my grandmothers funeral and as we were in the funeral procession on the way the the cemetary i was disgusted!! In TN when we see a funeral procession we stop our cars out of respect!! Not only did NO ONE stop, cars sped past us and almost hit us a few times. Shame on you Charleston for bad manners!!!

No offense, but WV is one of the two oldest population states in the Union. Back in the day, it was pretty easy to stop for a funeral, but if we stopped for every funeral that we have here (due to the massive amount of old folks) no one would ever get anywhere.

Its the law. You must stop, but most dont know that. Its also illegal to cut into the procession, but again many do. Police will rite tickets for this.

News this weekend were all about displaying funerals for the public to see. Shain Gande and Sheriff Crum. Talk about no respect.

Yes and they did the same with recent celeb deaths Whitney and Michael. It seems respect and funerals is a thing of the past anymore. Not in Tennessee tho. We respect peeps privacy when they die!!

There's no law that says you have to stop.
They have the right of way and you have to yield to them but you don't have to pull over and stop.
Maybe theres no law but its just common decency and respect but from as trashy, run down, and crime-tastic Charleston has gotten im guessing they dont understand those morals !!
