I heard that he will get fined if he does any work. Why wouldnt he work and make money if could? Why would people make up that he owes all these taxes. It doesn't make sense.

I have known Howard Hunter all my life. And I am a real person. He is a good man. He has helped me several times. And I know all this stuff about taxes owed is true as well as him getting fined for doing any work. If he could mow and maintain that cemetery he would. He can't. What is he supposed to do? He can't do anything.

Why don't they just spray herbicide on everything and kill the grass. This way the grass won't have to be cut. Problem solved, no more tall grass and no one complaining.

I went down and mowed my pets graves and the ones surrounding them. It is looking bad. The part that was not mowed the last time is terrible. I noticed that some people are going down and taking care of their own pets graves. There was no one down there. The trailer on the property seems to still be occupied but I am not sure who lives there or what the deal with that is. I know that several years ago the state road purchased part of the cemetery on the right and the pets that were buried there were relocated at the states expense and markers were paid for by the state for the ones that did not have them. Does anyone have a solution for this on going problem?
The people that live in the trailer on the property is Howard Hunter's son so wonder why he couldn't mow the cemetery???? Something's wrong with that pic!!!! We need to meet at the cemetery every month and mow it really good. Because if we don't it will all grow up and we don't need that! But I think that hunter's son in the trailer needs to get his lazy ass off the property too and stop driving the cemetery's truck that's not his property!!!!!

We should all go mow this Sunday if we can. If everybody mows their own and around it, then we could get it done.

If you have loved ones human and pets you need to go and see what it looks like. Some people are taking care of their own while many parts of the cemetery has not been mowed all summer. I was there today and saw one lady doing hers and another came as I was leaving. It really needs to be done. It is really bad.

Thanks for sharing. I had no idea. Maybe some would be willing to contribute a small amt of money each to hire someone to mow regularly? Willing to do what I can to help. Will continue to check back for update....Thanks for caring!!

I was wondering the same thing. If we could find a reliable person to do it and set up a account at a bank for contributions. I know that there are many humans and pets that no longer have anyone alive to take care of their graves. It made me sick to see the condition of it. It would be very difficult for some people to even find the graves that they are looking for because the grass in so high. My husband had to take a weed eater and cut a path so he could get the mower up the hill.

Thank you so much. Another sad thing happened when I was down there on Saturday. There was a older man standing by his vehicle at the office and he flagged us down. His dog had passed and he had it with him looking for Howard. He owns lots down there. My husband told him to either call the real estate company or go over to the trailer where Howard's son lived. Howard has stated that he will buy peoples pets if they own there lots. I felt so sorry for this man. I wish that someone would buy it and let it continue. Taxpayer perhaps you could be one of the newspapers to do a story and let people know about the idea of contributions.

Did anyone go to the cemetery and help with cleanup?
I had been several days before and did not make it on Saturday so I am wondering.
