So let me get this straight. You don't want us to have a "religious" forum. You believe it's a myth. Christians are name callers if they stand up for their God. But you want to come in here for what reason? To pretend a christian is picking a fight? Sorry your friends don't like you but I promise I won't either. I promise you are that guy who talks too much, tells everyone what they think, and your co workers can't stand you.

You are welcome to post anything here you wish, within the rules, just don't get your panties in a wad when not everyone agrees with you.

Christians are name-callers when they start calling names, easy, yes?

I'm not pretending anything, if you can't stand others beliefs then perhaps you shouldn't so readily express yours.

Being as you know nothing about personal life, your insults are meaningless.

I'm an atheist, but I do not know why every time I see something that has to do with Christianity there is always a few other atheist that have to be d!cks and make comments just cause strife. Then claiming Christians push theirs beliefs on them when you're the ones make comments such as "iron age myths". You attack them then claim to be the good guys.

Alright i'm only gonna say this once so here goes...

It's Jesus ( pronounced " Hey-Zeous " )

and he is that hippie looking dude that lives in the sky and wears a white terry cloth bathrobe with a big red stain on the front of it and he sports some wicked ass sandles.

I once was lost just as you are and you know who you are, and I was mocking God and speaking evil of the Christians and anyone who would want to tell me about Jesus. My life has changed since I let God take over, and now it doesn't bother me when some one does that to me, because I know God love me and will defend me, because God does take care of His children. He loves everyone, and I was a prime example of His Love because when I was hating people and mocking God, He loved me to the point that He took that hatred and turned it into love for those that I had been persecuting. It is not easy being a Christian and living a righteous life, because the devil is there working 24 hrs every day and will do every thing in his power to try and trip me up' and he does succeed at times, and that's why I have to keep my mind, heart on the Lord in Prayer. I know I could give you a bunch of Scripture and Verses, but a personal Testimony for Him I thought would be relevant at this time. Thank you for sharing. Roy

If you don't know why, then perhaps you do not understand the purpose of a discussion forum, especially one like topix. It's not like anyone is running up to them in the street and putting them down. If you express your beliefs out on topix, expect them to be discussed from multiple angles and most of all, have a thick skin about it.

I'm sorry, you tell nothing of what this god supposedly did for you other than what, you stopped hating people? That doesn't take the supernatural. People change for the better all the time, people of other religions and even atheists and agnostics who make their selves better people all without any deity. It doesn't take religious belief to be a good person.

As for the devil... The whole "devil made me do it" thing is a really stale cop-out. Why would your god let an extremely powerful, evil entity that it created exist knowing that it could "trip people up" and cause them to burn in hell?

Exactly!

Why would an all loving God create the devil in the first place? If God knows all and what will happen before it even happens then why make Satan an Angel when all along you knew he would create sin and evil and destroy the very same children you love.

I know I know some will say God works in mysterious ways I know..

Look. It's lil Johnny. Are you still tormented by the guilt of your homosexuality that you feel the need to be offensive to those who choose to believe & be straight? You don't need to worry. God loves all of his children, regardless of their sins.

What is it with you and calling people homosexual? Did I miss the part where he offered you a BJ or something?

Then Arch you are saying that I am going to go to heaven after I die? Sweet! Then I can keep on taking it up the butt and still meet ol Hey Zeus when the time is right.

Bet ol hey Zeous can party like a rockstar.

You know cause if he can turn water into wine then I shudder at what that dude can do with some poppy seeds and a bamboo stick.

I hear voices all the time! They say ""Eat at Joes" ""Eat at Joes"". I don't know Joe. That really bothers me.

I'm not the one that will judge your acceptance or denial. Maybe you'll be looked upon as a mentally disabled person & won't be judged harshly. Then again little Johnny, maybe you & your butt plugging, blasphemous buddies will get to suffer for eternity. But, you know with the highest degree of certainty, God is a fairy tale, right?

But, Yet you find it necessary to insult the beliefs of those who choose to believe. I suppose you haven't approached the milestone where you changed for the better yet.

You're right, especially since christians are known to be so accepting and tolerant of others beliefs. How dare I express mine on a discussion forum! The nerve of atheists these days!

Even if there's no Heaven or Hell(which I know there is)I would much rather live the Christian life I'm living. It's a good life to live and not worth the chance I'd be taking If I were a sinner and end up in a devils hell.
