Wicked? You really need to get out more. You have no idea what wicked is. Try Texas, California, New York or Jersey for starters. Or better yet, maybe you need to define wicked, as you can understand it. Issues yes, as every state has them, it's how those that love it DEAL with it, that makes the difference. You can exit, STAGE LEFT, any time......

Oh yes, WV has it all and your WICKED State is finally being exposed to the entire world!
You can exit STAGE RIGHT anytime you choose which is what the U.S.A. highly recommends, before your WICKED State is FINALLY DESTROYED!
Let me guess. You got fired from your job.Your old lady ran off with a drug dealer. Her family wont let you see the kids until you get another job and pay those arrears. And most of those are fat asses. Her new boyfriend is also a drunk. And someone stole your sheep.LOL

west virginias' problems are centered around a a cancerous infra structure created by highly corrupt attorneys, prosecuting attorneys, judges, magistrates, law enforcement and government officials. change will only occur if/when these corruptors are exposed, investigated, removed, prosecuted.

a thought to 'mike roarks' comment. it appears some of the Detroiters vacationing in WV have a dual agenda 'fun' and 'profit'. isn't that where many of the illicit drugs of the street are coming from --'vacationing Detroiters'? could it be 'vacationing Detroiter's' have been given an 'open market' for selling their drugs by a ring of corrupt law enforcement, prosecutors, judges, magistrates, government politicians in WV?

The war on drugs is a profit making business for both sides.Law enforcement gets to confiscate vehicles, monies, other properties, etc Plus they get federal and state funds probably based on quotas. And the judicial system is even worse.Welcome to the new America. Not only do they police the world, they over regulate every aspect of our lives here with their excessive laws, rules, regulations, fees, licenses, fines, etc, etc. And if our corrupt politicians and judges who own stock in corporations hadnt let those jobs go over seas so as to pay peons a dollar a day instead of you and I 20 an hour for the purpose of personal gain we wouldnt have people resorting to dealing to pay their bills.Even municipalities and counties are going broke due to loss of that tax base.So what does government do? Expect you and I to pay for their greed by raising taxes and instituting user fees, etc. Those damn judges who rule in favor of companies protesting against paying pensions are being bought off.

It's all about greed. The corporations are fickle, they are dumping China and courting Viet Nam, because they pay 28 cents an hour. These free trade agreements have destroyed our economy and society. There are so many ships backed up at our ports, that there is no where for more to dock. That's why we're the food stamp capital of the World.

We are no different than other states that have the SAME problems. The difference is how we DEAL with them. Stop putting US down for trying to make things different or better. If you don't like it get the Hell Out, because that makes you nothing but another Liability... Go to Detroit...maybe you can hit a Pawn Shop up there for something,,,or maybe find an empty house up there since there are so many you can SQUAT in...

ANYONE, ANYONE, that targets a Race, Population, Gender or Religion as something to condemn...has nothing better to do with their time. Get involved with your community, church, or family and see that we ARE living in the REAL WORLD, just like everyone else. EVER State City, PArish, whatever has it's issues...And if all you can do is condemn a group of Citizens for trying to do better...you are more sick than oall of our addicts COMBINED! Is your last name Dahmer, Bundy or Manson? You sure sound like one of those FREAKS...

WV has laws in place to take care of the many corruptors creating the problems/issues confronting our judicial/enforcement system.---so let's clean it up.

Class H Felony: Max. imprisonment; 6 years; max. fine
$10,000.

WV CC 61-5A-3
'offering, conferring, or agreeing to confer to or upon another, or soliciting, accepting or agreeing to accept from another, directly or indirectly, pecuniary benefit as consideration for the recipient's official action as a public servant or party official; or any benefit as consideration for the recipient's consideration for the recipient's official action as a public servant in an administrative or judicial proceeding; or any benefit as consideration for a violation of a legal duty as a public servant or party-official.
'agreeing to render or not to render official action as a public servant or party official as consideration for a pecuniary benefit being offered or conferred to or upon, or as consideration for a promise that a pecuniary benefit shall be offered or conferred to or upon another person or a party official or a political party.'

impressive - you've noticed the correlation of corruption/violence/abuse/oppr ession/repression manifesting itself in the obesity rate of an entire city/state.
