Well I'm not married but if the love of my life would marry me then yes she would be my property as far as other men go but I would never try to control her, tell her what to do and when to do it ect ect. I would treat her with the same respect as she treats me!
There may be a reason you're not married. Slavery ended with the Civil War and no person is the property of another. I believe what you're trying to see is that you expect your wife to be faithful to you only.

And you got me all wrong, I would never treat a woman like a "slave"!

How did I get you wrong? You said once you marry, your wife is your "property". Not so! A human is not anyone's property.

If you married couples were happy you wouldn't be on a low class discussion board talking about your married life! You messed up when you got married, didn't you? Now live with it and stop crying! Hehehe

I guess you either didn't read my entire post, or just didn't comprehend it, but I didn't nit pick a single part of it, I think I addressed multiple parts of your post, which was a very "holier than thou" type post. So you sir are the "douche", name calling just weakens your argument and actually shows that you in deed have no argument.

I barely mentioned my views in passing. Nit picking a tiny little statement out of my whole post and attacking me for it is a douche move. Also my "rant" is not offbase in a thread titled "my wife is my property". Suck it.

OK so if I see another man hitting on her then I'm not supposed to say hey that's "my" wife!!
And that's exactly what I was getting at! And peaches are better!

Where does this mind set come from? Even after many men are divorced they still think they have some sort of claim to their ex wife. A woman does not come with a deed or a title. A woman is not something you constantly refer to in ghird person as "MY wife"...They aren't to be traded or sold. This is America, not some third world country where this way of thinking prevails. So "your wife" filed for divorce?? It's her choice. She isn't a pet registered with the county. Many men with this mindset end up divorced, them blame someone else, harass their ex, stalk them... All the while putting up the "good Christian" persona... Most judges see right through this BS...
You could always wear a name tag, that way everyone knows your name.

Yep, the bible makes it very clear, god hates women and puts little value on them. It's part of the problem in our "christian" nation.
What's up "Ya Nerd" lol, its been awhile :) the bible does state that the wife should be submisive to her husband. But it also states that the husband should love his wife like he does our Lord God... So, If the husband loves the wife like he does the Lord, then it is all love. Would a faithful loving person demand Jesus make them dinner?!?! NO, but if he did, then wow, they would be beyond words! Would Jesus mind making them dinner, NO! He fed 5000 people in one setting! lol,

So if a Husband loves his wife like he loves the Lord, he would be very appreciative of what she does for him. And she doesnt mind doing so becuase she loves him too!

There is a difference in being demanded by a person to do something, and doing something for that person out of love. Submissive doesnt mean, do it because I said so or I will beat you. It means doing something out of love to be pleasing to someone. And when you get that love back,(Like loving your wife as you do the Lord) The appreciation is your reward :)

Hope that makes sense!

Your property isn't bad while you are at work. Really knows how to put it on you.
