I had several experiences with these people that led me to believe they are a terrible veterinary practice. Does anyone else have anything to say about them?

Before I switched vets, most of my experiences were negative because their prices were a lot higher than others. Also, they frequently found something "wrong" with my pets every time they went. Once, they told us to de-worm our cat (he didn't have worms or any symptoms) "just to be safe." Another time, they told us to have blood work done on him because his breath smelled bad and it "could be kidney problems."
Another pet we had broke his leg, and their first choice to fix it was to charge us $900 dollars to amputate it. We went to another vet and the surgery would've been $300 there, plus they didn't even think it was necessary. We waited and the leg healed perfectly.
They don't pose any real risks to the safety of your pet, but your wallet will be a lot lighter when they're done.

I've always taken my pets there, have for 10 years or so, their prices are a bit high, but their quality of care I think far surpasses that of other places I've used. I also had my dog break his leg, and had the opposite experience. they recommended I wait to see if it would heal without surgery and it did. dr Patton is the best IMO.

I took my dog there for 2-1/2 years, whenever I took him in for shots or boarding - they found something wrong with him - stupid silly things - I spent so much money there it was crazy - I noticed something seemed strange with him in August - I took him in to be checked out - they found nothing unusual (that time) then a few months later i boarded him for 4 days over thanksgiving -they called to say he had a lump - they wanted to aspirate and do a biopsy on it - I was out of town at the time and agreed to it - they said it was not cancer - just a benign cyst - he continued to have problems - I took him to another vet and found out that he did in fact have cancer - if animal care had detected this and he had received surgery - he might have been ok - but by that time it was so advanced - I had to take him to Ohio State University Veterinary hospital and spent a couple thousand dollars for them to tell me the cancer was inoperable - we could do chemo or radiation and that MIGHT give him a few months. I advised animal care of the situation and that had they taken care of this problem when I voiced my initial concerns - he may have lived --- no apologies at all -- they received a copy of the reports from OSU - after i had him put to sleep - (which was one of the hardest things I've ever done - but had to do because he was in so much pain)I advised them -- the automated calls to remind of check ups and shots continued - even though I asked repeatedly for them to take me out of there system and remove all of my information because I would NEVER take another pet there... It's money money money for ridiculous things - but for anything serious - they are pathetic

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
