MADD

Get over yourself. This is a matter between Mr Goad and his lawyer and the police. It's stupid people like you that make it harder on some people. Why is it any of your business what others do? Get a life and leave others alone.

And don't say he could hurt someone in your family and all that crap. You know that wasn't going to happen, you for some reason have a vendetta against Mr Goad and you are using his shortcoming to cash in. Get a life!

Do you know how stupid you just made yourself look by posting this shit claiming that it's no ones business that this man drinks and drives? I don't personally know Mr. Goad but I drive these roads everyday going to work and it is my fu€king business when someone who chooses to drive drunk could potentially hurt or kill me because he's an idiot! I've never heard of someone defending a drink drivers actions but I'm sure if you had a family member killed or you yourself was put in a wheelchair you wouldn't be defending him, you must be Mr. Goad himself or a friend or family member. Your the one that needs to get a life because you sound like a real dumba$$! I hope they lock this SOB up!!!

WOW!! Really?! It's EVERYONE'S business. When some drunk is driving the WRONG WAY on a one way street, that's EVERYONE'S business!!! A head on collision is likely only going to injure the drunk, while causing serious injury to whoever he would hit.

You're a tool, and you need to get over YOURSELF. If you think drinking & driving is ok, you need to have your license revoked & be forced to ride public transit, just on principle.

Karma will get you one day, probably in the form of a drunk driver slamming into you when you least expect it...but hey, that's none of your business, right?!

I haven't went anywhere and I still stand by what I said word for word. As i said before this is a private matter between an individual and the law and for some stupid ass punk to bring it out in the open is wrong. I swear to God some people act like if a person has a cocktail after work and then drives home on occasions that they're some kind of a thug.

Yes the gentleman was driving the wrong way, but the police stopped him and did their thing. If he can muster bail a good lawyer and beat the charges then so be it. It's nobodys business PERIOD!

Trust me when I say this "I AM NOT" in anyway advocating drinking and driving, but My God some of you morons think it's the work of the devil. Lighten up Francis! Who among us hasn't done it?

I have never driven drunk. EVER. There is a difference in driving when you're incapable of determining which way traffic is going and driving when you've had a cocktail after work. HUGE difference.

You are advocating drinking & driving by saying it's no one's business. When some STUPID idiot gets behind the wheel of his vehicle when he can't even walk or stand, it's everyone's business.

Karma will get you, and I'll see your devastation in the news.

Yes he did say I'm Drunk, but because he was drunk and driving you fools want him under the jail? Listen up! Nobody got hurt, and no damage was done. It's a matter between Mr Goad his family and the courts. Things such as this should never even hit the press. This will be my last response on this but again it is no ones business what so ever on his arrest. Nobodys!

And for the record YES I have driven intoxicated before and most of you have too. The ones saying NO are just lying for effect.

In closing NO I DO NOT ADVOCATE DRINKING AND DRIVING

but for the sake of God some of us can get a drink or two in us and still drive sensibly and I am one of them

Not .267 drunk, but .008 is way too low. And that my friend is where the problem is at. But that's for another day.

.008 is too low

Don't bother responding I won't read it anyway!

Well,, I don't agree with the fact a person can have outsstanding DUI's and THAT ANY LAWYER has t he power to get him out when he's arrested for it again - there should have been no bail set. But that is up to the magistrate and I don't really know the law on what situations NO BOND is allowable. I believe it is only in cases of possible flight from a felony or murder.

Just be patient, when he gets indited and goes to trial - then you'll see!!! But don't plan on a big jail sentence for I had a friend that got caught for the third time on DUI and his lawyer pled him down to a RECKLESS DRIVING and he only got one year home confinement. Now his DUI's he'd already spent home confinement twice on two and the lawyer the third time cost several thousand dollars.

Most generally unless someone is hurt or the driver runs from the scene, no jail time is given. But yes - it is everybody's business THAT IS HOW MAAD got started a drunk driver killed a child!! Just like drug dealers and thieves, they and their buddies think people should JUST TURN THEIR HEADS if they are not the one getting robbed or the neighbor with children who live beside the dealer.\

It's like this folks - IT IS A SHAME, but the criminals far exceed the good people in Kanawha County now and you are in danger if you speak up about them also.

Yes, I have driven while drunk - when I was younger and am ashamed of it now that I am older.

So, according to you, operating a vehicle when incapable of standing on one's own two feet, and proceeding the wrong way down a one way street is "driving sensibly"?

You're defending this dude to the death, while trying to make it sound like "not that bad".

You must be the dude we're talking about.

STOP DRINKING & DRIVING!!! FREAK!!!

1st of all - there are so many one way streets downtown that you can make that mistake - drunk or sober
2nd of all - "mind your own business" is entitled to their opinion and does not deserve to be ripped apart and called names etc
3rd of all - this poor guy the story is about obviously has a very serious alcohol abuse problem to have racked up so many DUI's - I wish there were effective alcohol and drug treatment programs and facilities available to help these people-(not what they have now where their buddy signs a book for them).... I pray that he gets help before he ends up badly injured - or dead - or worse - injuring or killing someone else and dealing with that guilt the rest of his life

If something happens in public it's everyone's business. If mr goad stuck a bottle up his ass and called 911 for help to get it out then it's his business. You r a true idiot 'mind ur own business', an example of the scum that live around us.
