Ohhh come on, Dems want to raise taxes on rich and help the poor and middle class. Reps want to lower tax on rich and cut programs like Medicare and SSA. It is not that hard to figure out. Raise minumum wage help the poor cost the rich a lttle more. But instead lets put the squeeze on the poor so the rich can get richer

You say that because you are one of the ""deadbeats" " not working and getting a check. You probably have never assumed responsibility for anything including yourself. Some people work two and three part time jobs to get ahead and 7 days a week to pull them out of poverty. When they do finally make it you want to tax the hell out of them you deadbeat puke face. You are lower than whale shytte and that is on the bottom of the ocean.

I was told just that by my DI in basic training, your nothing but whale $h!t on the bottom of the Ocean. Sleeping on the ground in the jungles of VN, I thought to myself, only whale $h!t on the bottom of the Ocean would be here. Working in a maximum security facility as a CO, I thought to myself, you have to be whale $h!t on the bottom of the Ocean to work here. Working in a underground coal mine I often thought, this would be a good place for whale $h!t on the bottom of the Ocean to be. You call me "Whale $h!t on the bottom of the Ocean", I can relate to that, most all of my life. I still say, Screw the Rich, tax the guts out of them, by the way, Screw you too, John.

Screw the rich?.... The people that provide the jobs that you want to raise minimum wage for?? What happens when you tax the guts out of the rich and make them pay more in payroll??? There are less jobs, period.... It seems a lot of you don't realise the taxes that business must payon employees, they match all taxes taken out if your check, not to mention having to pay for workers comp, rent, or mortgage, insurance on said property,

jack, you are so out of touch with reality, it is laughable....

Thank you for your opinion, but I have a degree and a career. I have never received anything from the govornment. I also raised three children. So if I am concidered a deanbeat. so be it. I do know people that need help and are unable to work or are unable to get a good job with decent pay. Some of which were in the military and fought for our freedoms. So yes i would rather help them than the greedy rich folks that pay no taxes

Republican congress will never approve of an increase in the minimum wage but you can bet none of them would work for $7.25 an hour. I say we should link congress pay to the minimum wage and see how long it takes them to vote for an increase.

Let me pose this scenario to you and see if you agree..

Say you are in school, and the entire class is given a rest to study for, the next week test day comes, and graded, 20% of the class receive 100%'s on the test, including you. The rest of the classes grades scatter between low A's all the way to 10% of the class fail..

So the teacher says, to help the students that did bad on the test, she is going to take all of the scores, average them together, and that is the grade that the entire class gets,..... Now, the students that didn't study are happy as hell, the ones that did study to strive to be better, you can imagine they are quite upset, now how long do you thing it takes before the ones that strive to be better, quit trying so hard because in reality, their hard work doesn't equal them being above the ones that don't study or care?

That my friends, is socialism, I don't know bout you, but that isn't how I want to live..

I am all for taking care of our own.... But answer this, Obama has been shoving this "sequester" down Americas throat, blaming it on the republicans, the republicans won't allow any new taxes, so Obama is naturally pissed, so he threatens his favorite things to threaten, veteran pay, social security benefits, ect. Ect, to get Americans fired up....... The sequester is a measly $85million dollars, that is a drop in the bucket for the US govt. And keep is.mine that it is FUTURE spending, nothing that would take effect until at least next fiscal year...... The same day Obama is bitchin about the sequester and the"evil Republicans".... America pledges $385 million dollars to Syria!!!!! Where are the priorities???? Answer me that, Obama tries to bully his way to get what he wants, he needs put in his place, he is not a king....

humph, just a measly $85 Million and all this time I thought it was $85 Billion. I can now sleep better at night knowing that the sequester cuts will only be a measly $85 Million. Thank you humph for setting the record straight.

Billion, you are actually correct, but the point remains valid... With over a 3 TRILLION DOLLAR annual budget, that is still a drop in the bucket.... He is bullying the republican over what is pebbles in a rock quarry.
