Only God knows how many people scammed the old Workers Comp system when it was run by the state and how much money was swindled, but now it's a whole new ballgame thanks to Brickstreet Insurance and their employees
You are new kid in town (for sure) The prior fraud for WC was about 3% claimant and the rest political favors for big companies, waste in administration, attorneys depleting second injury life award fund by agreeing it was OK to give to claimant as only a teeny percent of money was due from recent employer - 98% from a fund in the WC Division. On and On - doctor fraud, attorney fraud,- and now the claimants who are injured pay for it and the Insurance Company has an excuse as "claimant fraud in past and bragging about all their denials"

Yes fraud was rampant by many back in the day even by good ol Governor Moore, but what I was saying is that it is now harder for a person to claim they're inujured when they're not. Brickstreet goes the extra mile to weed ouy these con- artists.

Employers don't want ther premiums to go up," I stated also....

Ok Brickstreet Employee. Of course I know the employer pays into it (but in actuality, they always figure the cost of benefits like such when figuring a person's salary SO YES - it's still just like the workers themselves paid into it.

Smugly, you are proud evidently to deny an obviously hurt/handicaped person. Live with yourself - fine. The main thing was this: The fraud at Workers' Comp included many things in which claimant fraud was teeny compared to the politician's fraud such as Attorney General allowed employers to pay pennies on dollars they owed in premiums in the days you were probably in diapers. Politicians had friends in the big coal companies and logging companies and allowed a lot of curruption in computing their premium costs. Administrators went on big VACATIONS at the cost of the premiums paid into the fund under the "guise of workshops etc"

So yes, the sweat on claimants backs and the pain they endured when getting injured did indeeed, "pay into the fund by their sweat and agony" when they did not get compensated properly.

Look at ssi and social security FRAUD - 10 TIMES MORE than WC fraud was and yes republicans want to privatize it on that basis and let their buddies also become multimillionaires by denying old peoples claims...(and the disabled workers)

You must be one of those card carrying liberals who believe there's an entitlement out there for everyone. It's people like yourself that is destroying this nation.

Best statement I've heard today! For every 50 claims I get, I reject maybe 2. There has to be clear cut evidence to deny a claim.

BS employee - Watch out, you may be let go for approving so many. But even when approved for medical - doesn't mean they get treated fairly if they are permanently disabled or need expensive surgery. Easy just to pay first x-ray AND ER expense. Advise of those 48 how FAR they get before everything is STOPPED??

I knew when this happened, the new younger employees would not remember the small percentage of claimant fraud VS the political and bigs shot's of the office, attorney and physician fraud. SO it's over - the rich get richer and the hurt go down and lose everything - those teeny ones that are fraud will move on to another con game - the true disabled will be put in dire straits and end up homeless or on SSI, SS - HUD, food stamps, etc. so it will come out of somebody's pocket in this state, just not the millionaire CEO's of Brickstreet
