What got my goat was the fact that it took Frontier FOUR HOURS just to recognize there was a problem. They said they had to receive a certain amount of calls before they could create a repair ticket.

I've heard of reducing your workforce, but this is ridiculous. It may be time to look to another company for local service. Frontier has reduced it's repairman until there's little left to actually work on ANY sort of problem.

I agree-I called as soon as mine was out and the standard re boot of modem and router etc did not fix it.I ALWAYS have to go through an argument that no there is not an outage-must be in my system must be my computer...my router-always MY problem. I kept telling them the internet light on the modem was RED indicating no internet present....was on hold and CRUMMY distorted "elevator" music" for over 1/2 hour then it took forever for them to admit there was a problem.I had to look behind router find computer RJ5 cable -unhook and hook into modem- he said "problem fixed" I told him NO problem the same!!

Since they have cut out all overtime & they only have a couple of fiber optic splicers that know what they are doing it is going to get worse & take longer to get anything done. People need to express their feelings & make sure Frontier hears it.

I am so sick of hearing overpaid frontier repair people whine about overtime when the everday person is trying to just make a living. I think Frontier should fire all of your whining asses then you can try to figure out where you monthly payments going to come from like I do. Take a pay cut and shut the Frig up!!!

I don't work for Frontier. What I am saying is there is to much work for a couple of people to do during regular hours so it keeps piling up. When you are sick & have medical bills out the butt and pay your bills, overtime really helps. Now if you aren't working don't blame those that are. Quit your whining and get out & find a job. If a man really wants to work there is always something. I am really quite sorry for your situation but you can't blame everyone. Look at our Government. Any war that America has ever been in has created significant financial grief for America. The longer it lasts the worse it gets. We have been at was for over 11 yrs now. It needs to end if we have any hope.

PS. I am from Mercer County & can tell you that the workers in this area make a significant amount less then Charleston. Over $10.00 /hr less plus insurance that Charleston doesn't pay. The old Verizon workers are still on their old contract but things will be different in the near future.

Dont expect things to get much better, I know things have gone from bad to worse when VZ sold to FTR but you can blame the PSC, it had their blessing. Hats off to our PSC. Thanks now we are back to the Stone Age when it comes to telecommunications.
