To end my investigation everyone knows what happen she went to were she thought was a safe place or place she was comfortable with the people there turned on her and she ran screaming for her life, soulless people won't come forward and the ones that has, the law for whatever reason will not help and for the ones who laugh and that think her family will not see her again your wrong they will see her again, this side or the other

They need to investigate YOU. Every time a thread about Melanie appears, you get on here and post that same stupid crap with your anti drug agenda blended into it. Makes me wonder what you know and why you ridicule people for trying to find out what happened to her.

Sweetcheeks I'm not trying to ridicule anyone I am just trying to keep it real. Just read some of the off the wall far out comments these coolcats have posted and then tell me whose the sane one and who isn't. Those cats post like they are the second coming of Nancy Drew (You do know who she is I hope) and if you don't know who Nancy Drew is then may I suggest you pick up a book instead of the crack pipe next time. Of course that is only a suggestion.

Wink! Wink!

Like I said dollface I am just a keeping it real.

peace out!

Later alligator!!!

Happy Holidays!

its a shame that our state law has let this family down,if she was a senators or rich mans daughter she would done been found her family should get a law suit on the people in charge of her case
Its not right but

Statistically this case is simply like many others. We just don't experience them as often in this state. It is sad, but the STATE LAW didn't let her down. They didn't introduce this life style or the associates into her inner circle. That was choice. Does it make a difference to a grieving family absolutely not.. BUT, the reality is cases co-mingled with OTHER illegal activities are extremely difficult to resolve.

well true for the main suspect had already killed once (or his father did) and was a known mean person dealing drugs and to be EVEN with him would reflect on your own reputation. But the punishment for murder is much more than for drug taking, thievery or fraud and justice needs done...

That's the point...MURDER hasn't been PROVEN beyond a reasonable doubt..
Even confessions have been found to be bogus attempts at "infamy" for sicko's out there. EVERYONE has a right to be PROVEN GUILTY of a crime. In this case, there's the basic difficulty in "knowing" factually what all laws have been violated...

Someone missing will forever leave grieving family and friends wondering and worrying - they deserve closure. Enough - if it was your child - would you still say that?

Weird thread. So who was this chick and what happened to her?

And no replies from the weirdo passive aggressive hippy dude...
"Hey sugar cheeks, it's all groovy, put down the crack pipe and read a Nancy Drew book... Wow dude, my genius Nancy Drew reference was sooooooooo obscure.. Stay groovy and don't do drugs, cause drugs are baauuuud. Mmmmkay? And don't be trying to find missing people either, cause that's not groovy, man."

When people tire of a thread - all they have to do is not click on it. Why insult the people who still want to read it and comment?

AstroGlide- Melanie Metheny disappeared on July 19, 2006. She was 21 years old and a single mother of 3. She was just about to start a nursing program and had just started dating a new guy from the Campbells Creek area in the Spring of 2006. On July 19 2006 at approximately 830 AM Melanie, dropped her kids off at daycare in Belle, WV and hasn't been seen or heard from by family since. A few days later an anonymous tip came in where her van was found on the westside of CHarleston abandoned without any signs of a struggle. Its been over 7 years and its as if she vanished without a trace, which is impossible. Today Melanie would be 28, and her family/friends miss her very much. We pray for answers and justice daily. God Bless!

Astro Glide-

On July 19, 2006 Melanie Metheny, a single mother of 3 , only 21 years old at the time getting ready to start nursing school dropped her kids off at daycare in Belle, WV at approximately 830 AM that morning. She has not been seen or heard from since by family , that was over 7 years ago. The search continues without any answers/clues as what happened that day. Yes there have been horror stories galore and rude people such as DrugFree but still no Melanie. On Sunday July 23, 2006 her van was found abandoned without any signs of a struggle on the west side of Charleston. They never recovered her cellphone, purse or Melanie. Her family and friends miss and love her dearly. Melanie is now 28 years old, and her kids are growing quickly and we will never stop until there are answers. People don't just vanish without a trace. Especially at that age and no financial means to just take off on her own. We pray daily that today is the day we find her and justice Is served. God Bless
