Do I recall the Bros might have a hand in Heritage? Funny they like names like Heritage, Townhall, Freedom,… are they trying to fool somebody that Townhall is an actual group of working citizens LOL.
"…Heritage Foundation is also a part of the Koch Foundation Associate Program.[50…"
Whos' heritage are we talking about?

I also worry that if a couple of big storms hit NY City the media will go crazy and our politicians won't have looked for other jobs as mines close?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UK_miners '_strike_(1984–1985)
…The coal industry was finally privatised in December 1994 to create a firm named "R.J.B. Mining", now known as UK Coal. Between the end of the strike and privatisation, pit closures continued with a particularly intense group of closures in the early 1990s.…
In 1983, Britain had 174 working mines; by 2009, this number had decreased to six.[46]
During the strike, Scargill had constantly claimed that the government had a long-term plan to reduce the industry in this way. The miners' will to resist deteriorated rapidly and there was a very apathetic response to the intensive period of closures in the early 1990s, despite evidence that there was much more sympathy for the miners then than in 1984.
Nottinghamshire miners had hoped that their pits were safe, but they too were mostly closed in the 1985-1994 period. This was widely resented as a betrayal of the promises that had been made to working miners in the strike; they had been told that their jobs were safe and their industry had a future.
The subsequent behaviour of the Conservative government was seen by most on the left, and in the "heavy" industries, to confirm fears about how they had been used to divide the miners' union...
Yes, politicians need to wake up and join the 21st century.

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2012/06/23/koch-...

"...Harry Koch came to the United States …during the 1880s and quickly established himself by purchasing one of the newspapers …Checking the archives of this paper, you can find arguments against Social Security, minimum wage, unions, even attempts to label the right to vote as “Mobocracy” and that the right to vote was against the Founding Fathers intent for America.

He became a large investor in a railroad firm, using his newspaper to undermine the anti-trust and anti-monopoly attacks against the corporate giants appearing throughout the nation. He made the case that large monopolies were in the best interest of the people, that they would be benevolent benefactors.

Harry’s son, Fred, expanded upon his fathers mantra, becoming an oil and chemical magnate. He also began funneling portions of his amassed fortune into a new concept, the political advocacy group. One of the more notable of these being the John Birch Society. Then came the four Koch sons of Fred now in their seventh decade of life.

In total, adjusted to todays dollars the amount invested in right-wing causes, from the newspapers to the societies as well as think tanks such as the Cato Institute and Heritage Foundation, the amount put into such effort comes to over $150 billion over the past 130 years.

Soros did not begin his philanthropic ventures or his political activities until the 1970s when he began financing anti-apartheid groups in South Africa as well as anti-Communist groups behind the iron curtain. He founded such groups as the Open Society Institute. His wealth is estimated at about $8 billion.

Yet, somehow, Soros has, with his $8 billion, come to parity against the Koch family, now in their 3rd and 4th generation of political punditry. Even in terms of total value, each of the two elder Koch brothers, David and Charles, individually is worth 1150% what Soros is worth. Together, they absolutely crush his net worth. Add in their other two brothers as well as cousins, Soros is a minor player…."

Does Soros also give interviews and publishes where his money goes i.e. it isn't hidden? How about the Bros?
