The Best Things About West Virginia

Well I guess it depends on what you can tolerate. In my neighborhood I know who the possible criminals are and who isn't. I know who thier families are and what to expect from all of them. I lived the city life too and decided I didn't want to raise my kids in a place where no one knows no one , neighbors don't speak, and people step over the bodies of homeless people on the street like they were logs instead of humans. wv has it's issues so does everywhere else but what do you care to live with? I prefer quiet, predictability and roots . I can walk this area and point out to my kids places our ancestors settled and grew for the past 200 years. I know to some people that's not important but to me it is.here my kids have learned how to be good neighbors , how to enjoy and preserve nature. How to play and have a great time without spending a dime and without buzzers lights or bells. How to use their imagination and get off the tv all day thing that city kids do because they are couped up all day with parents too afraid to let them outside because they are surrounded by strangers. Yes this place suits me fine.

<quoted text>Possum, I've been to all those places and many more. You are comparing an entire state with a population of barely a million to cities with millions of people. For example, Los Angeles has over 16 million people. Atlanta has over 6 million. So theres going to be more of everything there. However I'd much rather tolerate a little more crime than be stuck in Possum Patch West Virginny. WV is not without it's issues either. Plus WV has very low wages and an uneducated work force. Take some of your money (if you have any as you claim you do) and buy yourself a good camera that will take a better photo of yourself for Facebook, Twitter and that ridiculous blog.

Hey... You should probably go out and try to find a job or something. I wonder how you pay your bills.... Collect a check from the government? Are you maybe faking a disability or just collecting welfare? Which is it? You are kind of clever sometimes but you really aren't as abrasive as you seem to think. You fail pretty hard at trolling and honestly it is just kind of pathetic to see you here day in and day out constantly doing whatever it is that you do. I don't know you, and I am not telling you this as a friend, but more as a casual acquaintance or a neutral observer... You really need to do something with your life. Seriously, you could do anything. Anything in the world would be better than sitting around jabbering a bunch of nonsense about being a lady of quality, whatever the fuck that means, on topix all day. So yeah, good luck.

Just goes to show money doesn't buy happiness. I work hard and go to church. This hagatha person really needs to evaluate her life if she thinks she's somehow above everyone because she has money. I love west Virginia. We have a lot of people with good moral backgrounds and it's beautiful. West Virginia is home and always will be.

We use to have a lot more beautiful mountains then came strip mining, we use to have a fair taxation system, we use to have a thing called the death penalty that took care of our cold bloodied murderers that was abolished in 1965, we use to have moonshine whiskey, but now you can buy all the spirits you want at your local stores like Walmart , Krogers, and Speedway. I really like the old way better. How many people who live in Charleston ever remembers wiping their rears with newspapers because your family could not afford toilet tissue. They are some really good things I like about West Virginia which are new public water, new sewer lines, lower food taxes, better roads, new bridges, but corruption still runs deep, especially in Charleston. Heard today our state gas tax will most likely be going up.

Possums I have been to your lovely state more times than I can count. It truly is lovely there. That said it's the local idiots, hillbillies and inbreds I have issues with. Most do not have the sense of a rock and are uneducated and desperately need personal hygiene. As a lady of wealth and quality I do try to be empathetic to their plight, but it's not easy. We do employ many of them to care for our lovely 100 acre estate that we maintain there. They are only permitted on the perimeter and never indoors where antiques and priceless articles are. Well, must run for now and dress for dinner with hubby and guests. It's so lovely being wealthy, beautiful and be so adored. Anyhow I must run and begin preparations for dinner with the former governor and his wife. TaTa for now Lady of Quality ps Hope all you possums have a lovely dinner tonight also. Thats my wish for all of you "a chicken in every pot".

Possums I see you are all on here stroking each other and trying to convince yourselves that WV is so great and you are all normal. Well, possums, I hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but it's just not true. I just read some startling new stastics from the government and WV does not fare too well in education, finances, literacy,in come, poverty levels and on and on. TaTa for now Lady of Quality ps WV does have a large share of drug addicts and welfare recipients though. Just gotta love those hillbillies!!!!!
