They ran their league in to the ground! It's not KVYFL responsibility to rescue them now!!!

Having had kids in both leagues the only program worth letting in would be Western. Their quality of play is good and it is actually run good too. Dunbar and MidWestern have horrible fan and team behavior. A shame one franchise gets penalized for the behavior of others.

Kvyfl started 4 years ago and cvyfl still had a league but it has slowly diminished down to just the 3 teams. I personally feel that all the teams should be together, but it won't happen because of the adults running both leagues they are only about their best interest and not the best interest of the kids. U have coaches going on the news saying things like its not our fault we have all the talented kids. Who wants to play for or against someone with an attitude like that. Yes not every kid excels at football, but there is talent in both leagues. In the kvyfl u can't be a coach if u have had a felony, which some people don't agree with. My feelings on that is it should be taken into consideration how old the felony is and if u have changed ur ways. If u want to read more just google kvyfl and read the message board u will see all kinds of info. The cvyfl has a site to but u gotta sign up to view their message board.

Why would anyone want to allow franchises in that will track dog crap through the league. They are poison and their actions in the past prove it.

Punks are punks (adults) and given a choice we don't want to be around them.

The kids will suffer because parents and club members act like fools.

On the felony issue. If the felony has been expunged or is something like 10 or 20 years ago then no probelm. However, if you're a recent felon coaching kids isn't part of your community service rehabilitation. Not part of your socialization expiriment with my kids. And I swear I don't think I can take seeing a so called "coach" call a bunch of 7 and 8 year old's f'n ps's again. Tolerating that kind of behavior probably hurts Chem Valley as much as anything else. People don't want to hear or see that. Not the kids, parents or fans. And that incident was seen in front of the whole Laidely Field and not one higher up from the franchise did a thing. And then they wonder why people are against them. Chem Valley's problems are self-inflicted for the most part.

Sounds like Midwestern dundar an tornado should make there own league. They all let the parents get to involved. That is what it gets u. Just my thought

My son plays in the Kanawha Valley league. It's obvious from top to bottom that Western, Dunbar and Midwestern are the most compatible franchises in the entire valley and that's the reason why they aren't members of the Kanawha Valley League. Anyone that were part of chemical valley over the years fully understands that and if they don't they are just kidding themselves.

Several years ago chemical valley designated "AAA" and "AA" and placed half of the league in AAA and the other half in AA. This was a great idea, why have Tornado play Western each year and get beat 40-6.

This went on for a full season. The following year one of the AA franchises were going to be moved to AAA. They were so upset that they essentially started there own league and left out the AAA almost all franchises.

After a couple of years Hurricane left chemical valley and joined a league out of Huntington. Kanawha Valley brought in South Hills, South Charleston and Nitro. Now chemical valley is left with only Dunbar, Western and Midwestern. The 3 franchises with the most chemical valley Super Bowls in the years of its existence.

If ANYONE truly thinks this isn't about running away from better competition is complete idiot.

Once kids start middle school and high school you can't hide from them or keep them segregated. I want my sons to play the best competition and prepare them for when it really counts "high school" I'm truly embarrassed to be a member of the Kanawha Valley league.

It's going to happen regardless if they vote the 3 teams in to Kanawha Valley or not. The kids want to play so the parents will sign them up on teams already in the League just so their kid can play. Then there will by even more "parent conflicts" just like in Tornado last season.

Something must have changed since my kid played because outsideof Western the those other two teams weren't world beaters. Of course I've als heard alot of recruting goes on too so maybe that's part of the probelm. If you take other area's kids and play them against their home area then that could cause problems. Recruting always is an issue.

Dunbar, western and Midwestern were in our league - when did the leagues change ? By the way - all 3 of those teams were really good that year. We won the championship. I would think KC colts would be happy about western and Midwestern being so good, they will go to high school with them at Capital !

That's true about the kids but the parents show there true colors when they run up an down the stands giving the other teams kids and parents the finger an swearing. Then people wonder why kids grow up the way they do!!!

To reality, the parents of the kids that truly want to play will take their kids and join the other teams.

To the point of ????, This will only be worse now because they will be doing it to the parents of their own "teammates" because they were FORCED to join the team so there kid can play.

Bad situation either way you look at it.
