<quoted text> The GB had to make a pledge before they could be involved with the united nations for ten years. Does that make sense?
And even if that were true, it has nothing to do with this story.

It's strange that you are so ignorant of the facts.
Witnesses don't condemn others for saying the pledge.

Listen, if you are going to make a statement, you might want to fact check first.

Lord have mercy. I love how everyone is arguing over one sentence, that doesn't give the whole story.

1) We were being forced to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance and the National Anthem every day, and those songs in addition to "Lift Every Voice and Sing" on Fridays. This is not so anymore. People complained about having to stand up for the Pledge and Lift Every Voice. Giles cancelled it for a day to show how influential it was to our school day.

2) The students in question are not Jehovah's Witnesses, but the Supreme Court case int he early 1900's was initiated by a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. That same court case is the reason why we are no longer required to stand.

3) Get all of your facts, and get them right, before you go insulting my school or my state.

They shouldn't allow her to use them, she can't even figure out how to use the "reply" button.

Appears that she didn't make it past the 6th grade.

I agree. I don't know why they are trying to make this a Jehovah's Witness issue. It is not and never has been. I think these people are part of a hate group.
Maybe we will see them carrying signs out at the highway. We may need to alert Principal Giles and the police.

At this point I don't believe hitting the reply button would help to make any sense to what she is saying. Poor woman. One can only hope that her family gets her help.

We don't like bigots or hate groups. Just ask Fred Phelp's group. We ran them out of town. We hollered as they were leaving" Ya'all don't come back now, Ya hear!"

I don't care for bigots myself. They are haters that think they are better than everyone else.

Your talking about the Westboro Baptist church. I think Unlisted would do very well with that church. She has a lot in common with them.

(Eph 4:31) Cause all the bitterness, anger, wrath, screaming, and slandering to be taken away from you, along with everything [else] that’s bad, 32 and be kind to each other… be sympathetic and graciously forgive each other, as God (by the Anointed One) has graciously forgiven you.

1Tim 6:4) he’s just blowing smoke, he doesn’t understand anything well, and he has become mentally diseased with doubts and debates over words… the results of which are envying, arguing, slandering, wicked suspicions

I agree,, the ones that don't want to say the pledge of allegiance should be shipped out to some other country, we have men and women fighting for our rights, and they don't deserve to be here if they can not support USA!!!!!! Just saying

what is a topix WT witnesses? Are you saying that saying the pledge of allegience is a religious act? What religon would that be?

You don't come here to our forum to throw God's words at us. We are talking about our school and kids, something that is our business. You want to talk about religion go to the proper forum.
