Went to the restaurant close near 3:00 the owner said come on in, and he left. Waiter or cook was very rude stuck his hands in front of my face staying 10 min. till I take the food away. We hurried got our food and hurried to eat so they could leave. They cleared the buffet bar and was waiting for us to finish, so we asked for a take out box. The owners wife was VERY rude, said we couldn't have a box unless we wanted to pay for another meal. DUHHHH why pay to take my leftovers? She knew the buffet food was gone but yet wanted to make me pay to take my uneaten food with me. Then proceeded to tell me how a buffet worked, yeah like I haven't lived here my whole life. I have spent hundreds of dollars there, and took numerous friends there, but her rudeness stopped that. I didn't finish my meal, I paid and left. I hope she frames that money because it is the last cent she will get from me. I wonder if her husband knows she does things like that, and I also wonder if it was because I am white? Would be interesting to know if others have any negative experiences there.

We quit going there too for various reasons. Food is never consistant. Service is up and down. And some of the people there are I'll say borderline rude. Try Sitar of India on Lee St for their buffet. They are kind of rude too but the food is better.

The sad thing is - we go to their country and they they treat us rudely - they come here - we treat them nice - but they are RUDE arrogant and act like they own the place. Yes - I know - America is the great melting pot - and no - I am not racist - I am nice to everyone - I am just observant and making a point. So many (not all - but many) come here and act like we owe th something - rude and pathetic

I don't know what that place's problem is. You can go there one day and the food and service is great and then you can go the very next day and the food and service are horrible. How do you explain that? I don't think there is any racial component but don't know wht it is.

We quit going to Sitar because the manager or what ever the older man's position is was so rude, that has been a few years ago. Guess we can try it again.

The Indian Restaurant in Beckley is pretty good, run by younger people and they are nice. Not a big selection in the buffet but they are just getting started. When I am in Beckley I try to go there.

They have an entirley new staff since then. Their buffett is much better than Little India. They put Mango Lassi on the buffett.

I had the same experience as some of the others, things were ok as long as the male owner was there, but when he left it was down hill all they way. When we ask the woman for a take out box for our left overs even there was no food on the buffet, she told me she would give me one if I wanted to pay for another buffet mail. I told her no way was I paying for a fourth meal when all I wanted was a box to put what I had in it. When she started explaining to me how a buffet worked that was the final straw, I would saw I have eaten more buffet meals than she ever has. I will never go back there again.

The husband needs to know how the customers are treated when he isn't there. I am still considering calling him, but go there again now way.
