No, no no! Don't pull that lame 'trickle down' policy on Romney. That is totally Obama's baby and it has never and will never work.
Romney's policy, which he first announced on August 30th, over two months ago, has never changed and is all a 'spiral up' approach. I understand it and so does Harry Rosen, an econmist from Princeton, who also says it will work. And he's a democrat. Five steps:
Become energy independent by 2020. Taking full advantage of our oil, coal, gas and nuclear and renewables.
(Aside: Imagine the jobs created that spiral up when on construction worker is hired. When employment is high, more Tax $ into the tax coffers, so middle class taxes can be lowered. Combine that with the number of people coming off of assistance and that savings and we can reduce the debt and improve shcools)
Give our citizens the skills they need for the jobs of today. Construcion are good paying jobs, but they do require skills. Skills best learned on the job.
And improve our school system.
Third, we make trade work for America by forging new trade agreement, and when nations cheat, there will be immediate and unmistakable consequences.
(Aside: In the time China has closed 18 trade agreements and have 15 in process, this adminstration has accomplished ZERO)
Fourth, to assure every job creator that their investments in America will not vanish, we will cut the deficit and put America on a balanced budget.
(Aside: We have had NO budget since Ohama took office)
Fifth: We will champion small business, our engine of growth. That means lowering taxes on small business, simpliying and modernizing the regulations that hurt small business the most and repealing and replacing Obamacare.
I really cannot believe you and the rest of the dems and Obama himself, call Romney a liar when his plan is so clear and thought out. Envy.
About the second thing Romney said in the debate was, "I'm not worried about the wealthy, the wealthy are doing fine."
You're such a liberal plant. We're as stupid as you'd like.
I put your BS on a search engine I get freeper sites, National Review and some moron named Hugh Hewitt. You do not think for yourself at all.

Layoffs are just part of good business. The company and stockholders are taking losses and you complain about losing your job??

Find another job. Start your own mine if you can do it better. I don't see the problem.

ROFLMAO!!!

Anyone understand the delusional double speak of the republicans? How typical, huh? I mean nothing of truth not substance here, just throwing **** on the wall to see if it sticks.

The War on Women began in 1980 from the republicans....and it's all but over now. Even republican women won't vote for republicans.

Well I didn't think you'd come up with Huffington Post or kyos or MSNBC.

Didn't find any lied, did you?

Think for myself? I am very independent and pretty darn experienced.

Do a search on Linda Morrison or Harry Rosen-Princeton. Find some more of your presidents lies. He's desperate and scandals are knocking on his door. Like in 'cover up.'

I am a woman. There is no war on women. That's a made up 'try to get their vote' lie by Obama and Sandra Fluke, who I am ashamed is a woman. If you want to play the victim, it's on you.

I'm pro=choice. Just make the choice before you part your knees and don't expect the rest of us to support you.

Why not get a job and just improve your situation, it's always worked for me.

If you don't understand how jobs and the economy work, well I'm sorry. But my post should make sense to you, if not, you'll never understand.

Go read what the economist from Princeton has to say about Romney's plan and Obama. Just search harry Rosen-Princeton. You're Obamatized.

Romney 2012
You're right. Believe me, when you own your own company, you take all the cuts you can personally before you begin the lay-offs or cut wages.

Public companies have to answer to the board and shareholders.

And it's perfectly fine to fire someone who is not performing. Do it in the right way and you might be doing them a favor.

If Romney is elected, it would be a great time to do a start up. Banks will be lending again, the economy will be growing and small businesses will be taxed and regulated less.

I mean, they shut down a $15 million construction job in Texas last week for a spider. And they didn't know if it was the right spider until they killed one, took it to a lab and autopsied it.

How many men got laid off and supporting businesses slowed because of that stupid spider?

Obama's been a total failure and an embarassment in front of the rest of the world. Let him go. He doesn't like America or want to be here.

"Obamatized"? And you call yourself intelligent? That's straight from the right wing pundit programs.

Checked out your Harvey Rosen-Princeton.

------

"Rosen has been involved in both the graduate and undergraduate teaching programs at Princeton. In recent years, he has taught undergraduate courses in public finance, taxation, and introductory microeconomics, and graduate courses in public finance. From 1989 to 1991 Rosenís audience changed from Princeton students to federal government policy makers, when he served in the US Treasury as Deputy Assistant Secretary (Tax Analysis). During a second stint in Washington from 2003 to 2005, he served on the Presidentís Council of Economic Advisers, first as a Member and then as Chairman. In this capacity, he provided advice to the White House on a wide variety of policy issues, including tax reform, social security, health care, energy, the federal budget, and financial market regulation."

-----

He was a Bush boy and wrote economic policies for Bush. Is he going to say anything nice about Obama economics? How much more partisan can you get? It's like saying the "Daily Caller" is news.

The war on women is real. That "job" you have would have paid better wages, but the republicans voted down the right to better pay for women.

I doubt you're female. If you are, sorry for your life. You seem to be a born again evangelical who thinks they have theirs and to hell with women who are struggling. You are part of the problem with the economics in this nation, not the solution.

You blah, blah, blah alot. How about showing your insight into what creates jobs in this nation?

Where's your proof of this fantasy? Why would banks lend money if we have a Romney in office? They didn't under Bush, but they are now at banks here.

Seems to me life means nothing to you. And BTW, Texans don't seem to mind saving a rare species.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/trending-now/enda...

The $15 million project was stopped until authorities can determine how to protect the spider's habitat, which happens to be in the middle of the construction zone. The meshweaver had not been seen in three decades, and biologists like Jean Krejca have been on hand to "observe and preserve" the site because it is filled with natural resources like songbirds and cave animals. Krejca compared the discovery of the meshweaver to "stumbling on a new Galapagos Island in terms of the biological significance of the region." Though only one spider was found, researchers believe the entire area might be a habitat for the meshweaver.

So this week brought the news that the construction plan will have to be redesigned. A Texas Department of Transportation official commented that while they care about easing traffic congestion, they also aim to be "good stewards of our natural resources." Until the project is redesigned for a reroute, it's estimated that 80,000 commuters will have to wait and find other roads to navigate to their destinations.

----------

Your lack of critical reasoning doesn't mean that ALL people lack critical reasoning. Life is more important than immediate road construction. Republicans, however, don't value life.

Doesn't sound like any men got laid off nor businesses suffer because of the concern for life. Your lies and misinformation just don't work at all.

You right wingers demonize the media, but always use it, without questioning it's accuracy, when you can find something to your advantage, like the spider story.

Lady, you are absolutely STUPID. My proof? Your comments on Topix. When someone does give you their proof, you are so stymied (is that a "Rightest" word?) you just hurl personal insults at them and make some demeaning comment to the source itself! I AM a woman and your position that there is a "war on women" makes me laugh. You are one of those women who always want an excuse or reason as to why you don't excel in something. Obama gives you that. You will go far in life; about as far as you are now. LOL
