Oh my heavens! Are you serious? A guy got arrested for farting? Who cares if he fanned it towards the officer or not the guy shouldn't have been charged with battery! Just how sensitive is this cop anyway?

That's a commercial that could run right after the "Click it or Ticket" and "Don't Drink and Drive" commercials..."Bust ass, fan a fart, go to jail."

Can civilians get someone arrested if a person purposefully "let's one go" in their direction? I wonder how much time someone would get for a "dutch oven"? At this point my husband would be considered a multiple felon.

This policeman and I use the term loosely should be fired for being an idiot. What's next? If I sneeze or burp I'm going to jail? This is what makes me question authority!

West Virginia: The "butt" of jokes again! No wonder other states make fun of us! We bring it on ourselves. Now this story has hit the AP, it's all over the world and will most likely be on the Jay Leno Show! Then, the people of WV will get upset, but no one's fault but our own.

Was he charged with a 6 votlt or 12 volt battery. Was a charger used or jumper cables. You left out the details. Any way I'm glad he is now charged.
